I finally got myself to order one of these after considering it for a year or two. I was hesitating because of the price (compared to Japan) + shipping from the UK. But what the hell, we only live once, so why wouldn’t I spoil myself with something nice once in a while.
Coming from a rubber dome low profile keyboard I used for the past 15 years or so, it’s a completely different world. Brown switches feel just like I imagined (I have nothing to compare it to except some Razer with MX Blues I tried at my friend a few years ago) and the typing sounds so satisfying it makes me want to ramble nonsense so I can type more and more. The keyboard is heavy and will NOT move anywhere. It feels solid like a brick, no bending, no flex, nothing.
I use it with included PS2 adapter, N-Key rollover test showed 38 or so keys at once, I did not bother to try for more for obvious reasons.
Shipping to EU was 5 working days (shipped the same day as I placed the order), packaging was nice and secure. Included nail file and beer coaster from the seller are a nice little touch and actually useful for me (that reminds me I should get a beer).
No complaints so far after using it for 1 hour (haha), except for missing multimedia keys and calculator shortcut key (but I knew exactly what I’m buying, so it’s fine). The lower-tier quality plastic used in keys, that some reviews are mentioning, might be a valid concern for the price, but the keyboard costs only 100 EUR in Japan, and for that price, I’d say it’s impossible to beat. Import duties and shipping costs are not Filco’s fault.
Thanks to The Keyboard Company for pleasant purchase. Like the guy before me mentioned it’s not easy to find one with US layout in Europe, so I’m glad there is a company that stocks it and is very legit at the same time. And if you are still hesitating after carefully weighing all its pros and cons order it now, you will think last year was too late after getting your hands on it!

Keyboard arrived promptly in adequate packaging. I had a keyboard with MX Red Silent switches before, but that died very quickly (some problem with the USB interface, not the switches). This Filco Majestouch-2 was a replacement. So I knew what to expect from the switches, no surprise there.
Beyond that, it’s a basic keyboard made really really well. If you’re looking for macros, lighting, or other frills, look elsewhere.
On the margin, I’d also say that the way the casing and the overall design play together makes this keyboard not particularly quiet in use. Which slightly defeats the purpose of these particular switches, I suppose. So you should buy it more for the feel of the switches than for being a really quiet keyboard.

I bought this keyboard about 15 months ago and have held off giving my review until now so that it’s worth something.
Simply put: I should have bought one of these keyboards many years ago, instead of wasting more money than it cost buying cheap ones which don’t last. It’s a joy to use for someone who, like other reviewers here, first used computers when real keyboards were the norm, rather than the exception. Lovely keyboard to type on. I came from a Ducky Zero and the upgrade in board quality is definitely noticeable. Solid, consistent feel across all keys. None of the rattle in the larger keys that others have reported. My only complaint would be the keycaps themselves. They are low quality ABS with raised legends which I instantly disliked. This was expected though and I quickly replaced them with some Tai-Hao doubleshot ABS keycaps which feel and look great. You could go the extra mile and buy PBT but the ABS are nicely textured and perfect for what I want.

Bought the keyboard to replace my 22 year old IBM keyboard, which only finally gave up the ghost when I split orange juice down it!
The Filco keyboard has a very solid, weighty feel to it; truly excellent. The Cherry MX Brown switches are very nice to type with, and also work extremely well when gaming.
The only minor complaint is that the keyboard has no backlighting, so finding the right keys on a late night gaming session can be tricky without some form of external lighting in the vicinity. I’m planning on a small USB lamp powered from my monitor – as the keyboard also doesn’t have USB out; or maybe swapping some of the key caps for different colours.
All-in-all, I’m very happy with the purchase. Time to arrive was 2 days after placing the order on Amazon.

I’ve had this keyboard for a few weeks now. I use it for work on my company laptop when I am at home. It’s an absolute joy to use. If I knew I would be spending a day alone in the office I’d take it into work in the interest of productivity. However I got the Blue switch version, which is just fabulous to type on, thoroughly reassuring, but not very sociable. I grew up in the days when keyboards were all mechanical and gave you true feedback when used, and have seen the takeover of damp flesh, compromised quality keyboards over the last 30 years. This one is a blast from my past and an absolute joy to use. I love it.

Can’t fault the service from The Keyboard Company: my keyboard arrived next day, well packed with no issues.
I already had the blue-switched version of this keyboard at home, which made my cheap keyboard at work feel awfully flimsy and spongy in comparison.
I went for the silent red-switched version out of consideration for my colleagues the blue switches are *loud*but I was a little concerned that the feel wouldn’t be as nice.
If this sounds like you: don’t worry, get one now!
This thing is absolutely bombproof, makes very little noise and best of all, makes typing vastly more enjoyable (which is a big bonus when you spend ~8 hours a day doing it).

My first foray into mechanical keyboards after using an Apple keyboard for several years, and I am very happy. The keyboard is very well built and quite quiet – although when working from home the dog seems less keen to be in the same room! My typing speed and accuracy are slowly improving. I miss the USB ports on the Apple keyboard which I used for a mouse (I prefer wires, so have had to dig out an old USB hub), but that is all. The increased height over an Apple kb has required me to tweak my desk ergonomics to avoid a bit of wrist strain.
Service from Keyboard Co was swift and faultless, and prices competitive. I highly recommend them based on my experience.

The first 105 Key “Majestouch-2” keyboard from master keyboard makers – Filco.

Lovely piece of kit. Great key feel and solid build. I type all day, every day, and this keyboard makes it a pleasure!
