I received this keyboard yesterday, quickly changed the relevant keys to a Windows set up and have been typing happily since then. I am very pleased with the feel, sound and backlit display.
Excellent all round, including the price. Thanks

There was a great selection of keyboards and I was easily able to pick the one that best suited my needs. Delivery was on time and packaged securely. The keyboard is well made and robust. It had all the keys I needed to configure to a Win 11 UK keyboard.

Really nice keyboard. I have the red switches and they’re soft and smooth. I didn’t think I’d use the multicoloured backlighting to the keys, but actually I’m finding it quite fun! This is my third keyboard from the Keyboard Company, and I’ve been delighted with the service.

My previous keyboard (Keychron K2) started having some issues so I needed to update and ended up ordering the aluminum RGB K8.

The feel of the keys is superb – they feel soft to the touch even though they are hard keys. I am a programmer and writing code with this keyboard feels sublime. Highly recommend!

Also the dispatch of the keybord was fast and delivery went smoothly. ❤️

Fantastic keyboard and excellent customer service. I went with the browns and it has been flawless so far – really enjoy the tactile and muted keystrokes. Only downside would be that its not full metal with a rotary switch – I know the Q series exists but they arent wireless!

Just bought my second one of these to use in work, to match one I bought for home about a year ago. I much prefer the feeling of this to the Filco I previously had – the action is smoother and I get much less fatigue in my fingers.

The one I just bought also has an improvement over the model from a year ago which has fixed a minor weak point: the lettering on the keycaps has been made slightly bolder. It is now much easier to read the keys, especially when the backlight is off, but it also looks better with the backlighting on.

Ironically I left this review a little bit longer than I intended to, but my opinion of has not changed in the slightest since the day I first used it.

I swapped from a Logitech G512, which was just too large for my new desk setup with it’s massive numpad that I hardly used. I decided I wanted something of a similar quality, but smaller and less reliant on software.

You’d be surprised how hard it is to find a tenkeyless UK-ISO keyboard that is pre-assembled, software free, of a decent build quality, and not about to mug you for every £££ you have.

I had been recommended Keychron in the past, so I look it up and they do not ship to the UK directly – but luckily their partner KeyboardCo does! It was out of stock, but once it came back in, I ordered it as fast as the website would let me.

It arrived with no issues, and I loved the build quality of it – was just as good as, if not better than my G512!

Now, I’m not personally a fan of the colour Keychron chose for their caps – Grey and orange on black irks me, so I changed them out for Steelseries Prism caps, which I think look pretty damn good.

If Keychron is listens to these review, please make a model of these that comes with black caps (or even better black pudding caps) because it genuinely looks fantastic with them!

TDLR – If you want a quality pre-assembled tenkeyless for a decent price, this (or the pro version if you want QMKVIA) are the ones to go for

Ordered this keyboard through Amazon, didn’t realise this company existed but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of packaging and the beer matt was a nice extra! The keyboard itself is fantastic, I originally had the K2 but couldn’t get on with the compact form factor. It pairs seamlessly with my 2 MacBook Pros as well as my windows PC. The time to switch between all 3 machines is very fast and the spacebar (and all keys in general) are nicely balanced and have a great feel to them (I have the Gateron blues).

It’s nice to see a UK company that specialises in keyboards specifically, I will definitely be ordering from them direct in the future!

Thanks,
Pete.

Firstly fantastic service from keyboardco, when this arrived a couple of the keycaps for the UK layout were damaged, which they quickly replaced. Fantastic service.

Now, the keyboard; I bought this to use with my steam deck, BT pairing works flawlessly and it’s a great portable size. I went to blues (brown was no longer in stock, my K95 is brown) wow the feedback on the blues is great, I ended up pairing this with my desktop for some coding and it’s great, probably 3 days of work before I had to charge, I wouldn’t want to use this in an office though as it’s loud, i’d still say browns are the best mix for coding and gaming though.

Negatives, the keycaps are abs but that’s reflected in the price, the RGB effects are a bit meh; I’d love the type lighting effect corsair offers through icue but have settled for essentially a static, really nice for low light.

At the price point, this is a great introduction into (hot-swappable) mechanical keyboards, I’ll be looking to upgrade to PBT caps if I can find a colour set I like.
