Overview
The Ten-Keyless version of the Majestouch-2 Ninja
Filco’s Ninja has the same layout as a standard UK keyboard, but instead of having legends on the top of the keys it has legends on the front of the keys. This is the 88 key version of Majestouch (the Majestouch without the number pad). With this compact keyboard, you can save space while having the same layout, and the same tactile feel as the existing Majestouch series.
Additional Accessories
The Ninja comes with 2 sets of Windows keys 1 set top printed, 1 set front printed, and a key puller to help you change the keys.
True N-key rollover
The functionality by which all the typed keys are recognized on the PC, even when many keys are typed simultaneously. All the keys typed simultaneously are recognized on the PS/2 port (limited to 6 keys typed simultaneously for the USB due to the specifications of USB). Completely dedicated electronic circuitry, a diode is soldered on the PCB for every key switch to prevent ‘counter currency’.
Solid and stylish
The rigid case construction gives a sure and comfortable typing experience with a specially designed font, for better visibility and a stylish and long lasting appearance.
An excellent feel with the ‘brown’ MX tactile feel key switch
The Cherry MX ‘brown’ key switch, gives a tactile feel without the audible click of the ‘blue’ switch, it has a long key stroke of 4mm with the actuation point (key press) at 2mm. Easy, fast and stress-free typing, the famous features of Cherry MX tactile feel.

An unexceptional product and disappointing, frankly. The switches feel OK other than for the space bar, the travel of which feels subtly grindy and unpleasant compared to the other keys. I tend to press the space bar at the very right with my right thumb and it feels unpleasant enough that, within minutes of use, I feel compelled to map another key (Alt Gr) for this purpose in software. It also doesn’t quite feel the same when pressed on the right as on the left; I tested also with my left thumb also to be sure I wasn’t imagining it. Perhaps it is just my unit but it is what it is. Even at a discount, it feels like money poorly spent. I now wish that I had coughed up the modest extra to replace my accidentally damaged Vortex Race 3, which is a vastly superior product by every metric: build quality, aesthetics and feel (not to mention that it is programmable). Would have rated 3 for average, but the clunky space bar brings it down to a 2.

For me the most important features in a keyboard are: tenkeyless, very good tactile response, easy to clean (easy to remove the keycaps), and minimalist design. The Majestouch 2 keyboards simply excel in all of these respects which is why I own two of them. One has MX browns which I’ve used intensively for four years, and the other has MX red silents.
If I had my own private workspace, I’d use the browns due to the better tactile response. Since I work in a shared space I purchased a keyboard with the MX silent reds, which has a great balance between being very quiet and having good tactile response.
I see no reason to own another type of keyboard since the Majestouch 2 is simply excellent in every respect that I care about.

I bought FKBN87MCEFB2 as a replacement for my old Das Keyboard Model S that I had been using for 10 years. So far I’m totally happy with the Filco as it gives me the experience that I got used to and leaves more space on my desk due to absence of the ten key block. Perfectly happy with the purchase!

I am amazed by the quality of the keyboard, must be experienced in real life is my opinion. Of course not a fancy christmas light keyboard, but I am much more interested in a minimalistic and quality made keyboard that does not distract. It takes some time to get used to not seeing the keys, but as any keyboard user one does actually not look at the keyboard even occasionally. Highly recommended!

This is a great keyboard, sturdy, and typing gives a good solid feel, if you don’t use the numeric keypad this model saves space on your desk.
I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a good solid keyboard that is pleasure to use.
