Filco Ninja Majestouch-2, Tenkeyless, NKR, Keyboards
Overview
The Ten-Keyless version of the Majestouch-2 Ninja
Filco’s Ninja has the same layout as a standard UK keyboard, but instead of having legends on the top of the keys it has legends on the front of the keys. This is the 88 key version of Majestouch (the Majestouch without the number pad). With this compact keyboard, you can save space while having the same layout, and the same tactile feel as the existing Majestouch series.
Additional Accessories
The Ninja comes with 2 sets of Windows keys 1 set top printed, 1 set front printed, and a key puller to help you change the keys.
True N-key rollover
The functionality by which all the typed keys are recognized on the PC, even when many keys are typed simultaneously. All the keys typed simultaneously are recognized on the PS/2 port (limited to 6 keys typed simultaneously for the USB due to the specifications of USB). Completely dedicated electronic circuitry, a diode is soldered on the PCB for every key switch to prevent ‘counter currency’.
Solid and stylish
The rigid case construction gives a sure and comfortable typing experience with a specially designed font, for better visibility and a stylish and long lasting appearance.
An excellent feel with the ‘brown’ MX tactile feel key switch
The Cherry MX ‘brown’ key switch, gives a tactile feel without the audible click of the ‘blue’ switch, it has a long key stroke of 4mm with the actuation point (key press) at 2mm. Easy, fast and stress-free typing, the famous features of Cherry MX tactile feel.

Great first mechanical keyboard for me. Love the tenkeyless design because my desk ergonomics can be much better (mouse and keyboard in the right place). Feels amazing quality compared to cheap generic kb’s but I think it’s probably ‘entry level’ if you talk to an enthusiast.
The switches are really quiet and feel nice to type on. They do have some quiet scrapingringing of the springs, espiecally if you push them slowly. This doesn’t bother me at all but some people would probably want to lube them.
The keyboard came with both styles of windows key, so you can choose.

I’ve been using this keyboard heavily over the last few weeks and it might be my favourite so far.
I use it for software development, on both a Macbook and Windows PC. Its great for typing and the build quality is also good. The switches (cherry mx brown) are really good too. I came from clicky tactile switches, so the browns are a lot quieter but still have the same feel.
Would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking to invest in a good keyboard.
It was my first time ordering from the keyboard company. It was straight-forward and I had no issues.

Excellent keyboard, perfect size & solid feel. And of course the pure SwedishFinnish layout is a big bonus. It’s not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for, the quality is fantastic. Some keyboards are cheap plasticky things, this one is not, solidly build and very highly recommended.

Downright the best mechanical keyboard I’ve owned so far.
As someone coming from another Cherry MX Brown board, I was impressed by how nice this Filco feels to type on. Rock solid feel, no vibration or movement while typing at all, even with the feet extended. It does not feature frills like RGB or rows of programmable keys, which can be a con for some but I adore the simple aesthetic. The tilted print on the keycaps is unusual but works well in practice. Filco also offers the regular (non-ninja) Majestouch-2 with normal top printed ones if you prefer those.
To sum it up: simply a very well built keyboard. The only downsides I can think of is the lack of frills (depending on your preferences), the non-detachable cable and well, the price tag….. But it’s worth it.

I am *very* pleased with this keyboard and with the excellent customer service I received from the Keyboard Company. The product I ordered arrived quickly and in excellent condition however I immediately realised that had mistakenly ordered the ‘soft clicky’ brown switches rather than ‘clicky’ blue ones. The keyboard was exchanged with no issue and I sit here, happily clicking, all day long! 🙂

This is a wonderful keyboard and I can’t believe I’m writing this, worth every penny. So why was I buying a new one? Having some niggling elbow and wrist problems I researched for a better alternative to the cheap plastic ones that come with PCs. I decided on a mechanic keyboard, slightly narrower so that the mouse can be nearer me. My research led further to ‘The Keyboard Company’. The keyboard was dispatched and arrived promptly. The keyboard is very well made and has the feel of an old-school typewriter (only better!).

The keyboard itself is top notch, definitely the best I’ve ever used. There are many reviews of the product around the internet, so I don’t need to reiterate it’s many qualities. The delivery and service of keyboardco.com has been perfect as well, matching the quality of the keyboard! I’ll definitely order my future keyboard needs via this website.

Solid, quiet, smooth. Excellent upgrade from the cheapo clacky mechanical (Outemo brown) I started with. I put blue o-rings on the keys that get repetitive hits (backspace, delete, left arrow, space). All is good.
Would really like to be able to buy *individual* blank or printed keycaps in different colors, Filco OEM if possible, on this site. The only current source I can find is in the US, £14 to ship a £1 keycap.

By far my favorite keyboard. After almost five years it still puts a smile on my face. Giving it four stars instead of five since I wish it a removable cord and PBT keycaps instead of ABS.

Very solid keyboard, no gimmicks, unless you count the front-printed keycaps as one. A beauty as a result.
An absolute pleasure to type on, both the feel of each keypress, and the sound produced.
Delivery was prompt and as expected.
I couldn’t be more pleased.

This keyboard is built like a rock, except for the flip feet. They’re of a design and quality you’d expect on cheap low-end boards. They flip over when you slide the keyboard back and the rubber caps come off easily.
This keyboard is very minimalistic. Such a shame that one of the few design features it does have doesn’t match the quality of the rest. When you pay £100+ you should be able to expect top quality on all details.

No frills, very solid and well manufactured keyboard. Perfect match for unix programming.
Cherry MX Blue switches feel and sound great.
Highly recommended product and a great store (probably the best in Europe).

I do software development and type a lot.
This is my 2nd filco tenkeyless keyboard.
I bought the first back in 2012 and use it every day since. Works just as fine as on its first day.
The old one is fitted with brown switches and I use it in the office, this new baby is proud to be blue and clicky at home.
