The Ten-Keyless version of the Majestouch-2
This is the 88 key version of Majestouch (the Majestouch without the number pad). With this compact keyboard, you can save space while having the same layout, and the same tactile feel as the existing Majestouch series.
You can customize your saved space by placing the ‘Ten Key Keypad’ (sold separately, see below) on your left side or right side, when you feel the need.
True N-key rollover
The functionality by which all the typed keys are recognized on the PC, even when many keys are typed simultaneously. All the keys typed simultaneously are recognized on the PS/2 port (limited to 6 keys typed simultaneously for the USB due to the specifications of USB). Completely dedicated electronic circuitry, a diode is soldered on the PCB for every key switch to prevent ‘counter currency’.
Solid and stylish
The rigid case construction gives a sure and comfortable typing experience with a specially designed font, for better visibility and a stylish and long lasting appearance.
An excellent feel with the ‘brown’ MX tactile feel key switch
The Cherry MX ‘brown’ key switch, gives a tactile feel without the audible click of the ‘blue’ switch, it has a long key stroke of 4mm with the actuation point (key press) at 2mm. Easy, fast and stress-free typing, the famous features of Cherry MX tactile feel.

Just one tiny inconvenient, typing is a bit noisy, but personally i love it!

Envo muy rpido. El teclado es muy slido. Minimalista y muy elegante para poder usarlo en entornos ms serios o discretos, como en una oficina. El tacto al teclear es muy cmodo y el sonido de las teclas es mucho menor que el de otros switches brown que tengo en otros teclados. Puede parecer caro pero es una inversin que durar muchsimos aos si no dura toda una vida.

I’ve been using keyboards for 40 odd years and still cant type… its a bit late really but this keyboard does help the grossly incompetent peck away at a sentence when you are doomed to looking at either the keyboard or the screen. And the tippy tappy noise does bring back memories 🙂

El teclado me lleg en menos de una semana, residiendo en Madrid. Muy contento con la compra, siempre haba usado teclado de membrana y quera probar uno mecnico. El tipo de interruptor Cherry MX marrn es ideal en cuestin de ruido, que es lo que tena miedo puesto que trabajo como programador en oficina. Aparte de la sensacin de escritura, lo que es el acabado es robusto, compacto y sencillo. Pesa pero da igual porque lo lgico es que no lo vaya a mover. Despus de la experiencia y siempre que pueda, no me veo volviendo a un teclado de membrana.

Tuve el paquete antes de lo esperado, bien envuelto y protegido. Perfecto por ese lado.
Respecto al teclado, se nota de calidad, muy bien terminado y parece resistente y duradero. Es algo menor (o compacto) de lo que imaginaba, pero todo es acostumbrarse.

I’ve really enjoyed the upgrade from browns to these silent reds. They were a little squishy to start with and the shafts rubbed a bit, but once they were worn in, they have become my favourite switches. Filcos continue to be my favourite board.

Excellent customer service. Arrived exactly on time. Used this for work in the office and have been typing for 10-12 hours a day for a week. By far the best keyboard i have ever had. 10/10. the biggest problem is going back to other keyboards. They just feel so bad. Need to order another one for home !

Muy buen servicio. Al final solo tard una semana aproximadamente en llegarme, cuando el envo esperado era de 2 a 3 semanas con la opcin ms econmica. Siempre est bien cuando llega antes de lo esperado 🙂
El teclado era exactamente tal cual lo esperaba. Se ve un teclado consistente y con unos acabados muy buenos. Adems el detalle de la goma (No se como llamarlo) para poder recogerlo es excelente.

The keyboard is heavy and very well-built but the standard keycaps are low quality ABS, not PBT.
I bought an MX tester to test the different types of Cherry switches before ordering the keyboard. I didnt find MX Brown to be middle way between MX Blue and MX Red switches. The tactile bump of MX Brown is so light that 90% of the time you wouldn’t notice it. I can feel it only when pressing the switch very slowly.
I love Cherry MX Blue switches, they are great for typing with their tactile bump and their audible click. Keep in mind they are not linear switches so, for gaming, they are not the fastest to respond out there. If you are a gamer the linear MX Red will be a better option. I also cant recommend the MX Blue in a workplace environment because of the loudness but I work from home so I dont have this problem.

Is it weird to express love for a keyboard?
This is the perfect compromise. Almost identical feeling as regular Red switches, but with a noise level that is bearable to other people. And of course the Filco build quality is stunning, the sturdiness makes it so quiet. Have not tried it in an office yet, but I doubt it will raise any complaints.
The only minor difference is that the key travel distance is slightly, but noticeably, shorter, because the dampening material takes up space. But it’s not a problem in my opinion, I never felt a big need for a long travel distance, as long as it’s responsive and crisp feeling.

Coming from an old IBM Model M that lasted 30 years (and still partly working), I was scared to change.
Great support from The Keyboard Co. with also the possibility of customization (this model was not available), also by adding to blank keys instead of default Windows logos.
The typing feeling of blue switches is very similar to a Model M and the keyboard is very resistant and heavy.

For me it’s honestly the best keyboard available on the market. Quality definitely has its price, but its worth every penny! My typing speed on this keyboard is significantly better than on regular ones and the keystrokes feel very smooth and are also incredibly silent (even more silent than a membrane keyboard).
The only downside is that if you drop any liquid on it, it won’t work anymore, but thats the case with almost any mechanical keyboard.

The Cherry Silent Red switches are indeed quite silent and actually have a pleasant sound when typing, even if you hit the keys hard. They are a major improvement over the basic reds I tried in the past. I am using the keyboard in the office for writing code.
I am very satisfied with the product , company and the quick delivery. Also happy the store stocks US layout keyboards as it’s the only layout I can type on.
