Two level adjustable rubber feet makes the new K3 more comfortable to type on.
HOT-SWAPPABLE
We all have our unique typing preferences, that’s why we went the extra mile to make the K3 the world’s first hot-swappable low profile Optical switch keyboard. We’ve implemented an MX-styled stem and stabilizers, and conducted numerous design iterations of the keyboard structure.
You can easily hot-swap every Optical switch to customize your typing experience on the K3 without soldering. *Hot-swappable feature is available for low profile Keychron Optical switch version only.
OPTICAL SWITCH
With the MX-styled stem housing and ultra-low latency, the low profile Keychron Optical switches are crafted for typists or gamers who want to type at lightning speed with a lifespan much greater than industry standards.
*Low profile Keychron Optical switch keyboard is not compatible with any conventional mx style mechanical switch.
- Light actuated
- 0.2ms Ultra-low latency
- 70 million keystroke lifespan
ALTERNATIVE KEYCAPS
We’ve spent over a year developing and implementing a MX-styled stem on both the low profile switches for the K3 as well as stabilizers on the big keys like the space bar, left Shift, backspace and Enter key.
It will improve reliability, deliver better typing experiences, and may potentially pave the way for other keycap manufacturers to launch alternative keycaps.
75% LAYOUT
Crafted for productivity, the K3’s 75% layout is a compact version of tenkeyless layout. It allows users access to all the essential multimedia and function keys, but with a smaller footprint.
18 TYPES OF RGB
Comes with various RGB backlight settings, you can adjust the keyboard brightness to sync with your mood.
Contents: Keyboard, USB-A to USB Type-C Cable, Keycap Puller, Switch Puller, User Manual

Switch Type: Keychron Low Profile Optical Brown Layout: USA
The keyboard is great, ordered it with brown switches which are fine for now (great for office work) but I’will definitely try other switches as well. I am using it with MacBook and it has all the keys I need which some other keyboards does not (brightness adjustments, music controls, etc.). As an addition, palm rest improves comfort significantly.
Downsides are keys sensitivity (too sensitive), not being able to check battery percentage somewhere in the OS and reconnecting via bluetooth when the keyboard is in sleep mode (this mode can be turned off).
Overall, I would recommend this keyboard as I don’t find these downsides crucial and I can live with them until Keychron fixes some or all of them 🙂

Excellent Apple Magic Keyboard replacement. I would avoid the red switches unless you really need a silent typing experience, as they’re very prone to typos. Battery life on this board leaves a lot to be desired compared to the K2 or other larger Keychron models. However, the portability of this board is second to none and at this price point it’s excellent value. As always the Keyboard Company’s service is excellent – fast communication and shipping

It arrived perfectly packaged. The keyboard itself is great, it has a good variety of light modes, and it feels very nice to type on. The only issue I have is some of my keys are squeaking but I hope it will fix itself after continued use.

Excellent keyboard, I went for red switches as that is my preference. Only slight negative with the optical switches is occasional accidental presses as they can be pretty sensitive.

The keyboard looks amazing, comes with great accessories in a gorgeous box. It is well built and works great out of the box with my M1 Mac. Delivery, handling and communication with keyboardco.com was good. Over all it is nice improvement over my M1 Air keyboard. The optical brown switches are fairly quiet but feel a bit less distinct than I hoped for. My husband has a Logitech G915 with low profile blue switches and he prefers the keycaps and switches.
Overall it works great for me. Potential improvements for the next version: volume wheel, longer battery life, swappable batteries, faster BT wake up, Software to configure it, different keycap options, brighter RGB, larger letters, del key and light key should be switched, the plastic (dust) cover should have a cut out for the cable, so it can be used while charging, USB hubpassthrough if used wired would be nice — BUT compared to what is available on the market, this is the best bang for buck and even in isolation a highly recommended keyboard.

As an owner of the Keychron K2 and a couple of other Keychron models, I wanted to try out the K3. It is now replaced my K2 as my main keyboard. I like the low profile form factor and typing on it is a joy.

Extremely fast deliver, great communication. No issues at all. I would definitely recommend 🙂

Switch Type: Keychron Low Profile Optical Blue Layout: United Kingdom
Fantastic keyboard. Even if the UK ISO version only comes out with optical switches, the blue version is clicky enough for my taste.
I am having a Mac mini as well so the fact that all the function keys are mirroring a Mac keyboard is great.
Finally, the seller deserves 5 stars as well. Prompt communication, free shipping and fast delivery.
I totally recommend it.

Pro:
A great product if you like laptop style keyboards.
Simple to set up with loads of customisation on the RGB lighting.
Con:
The only bad side is the auto sleep after 10 minutes, this can be easily turned off using press fn+S+O
A minor thing, using bluetooth connection to mac the charge percentage isn’t shown
Other
Waiting on some switches to swap over before I can comment on the hot swap.

Quick delivery as well!

Switch Type: Keychron Low Profile Optical Brown Layout: United Kingdom
Very nice low profile and relatively compact keyboard. Excellent upgrade from laptop keyboards that I had been using without going to the bulk of the admittedly nice but higher profile switch versions of the Keychron.
+’s
Easy for me start touch typing quickly (with my poor technique!!) on a long essay. Sound with the Brown Optical switches is pleasant to my ear and they have a subjectively nice actuation force and bottom out point to them. Good Bluetooth switching between devices with low latency and USB connectivity.
-‘s
RGB lighting is nice but only switchable via the on-keyboard button, though luckily there are a few options I don’t find garish. ABS keycaps so will eventually go shiny and few other officially compatible alternative options if they are not to you liking.

I changed from Microsoft Sidewinder X6 to Keychron K3 RGB, as my old fellow served for more than 14 years. I think, this new keyboard can be a worthy successor of my old buddy. Come back to me 14 years later for another feedback. 😀 I use my new K3 for a week now, and I am absolutely satisfied with it! It is very handy and fast, I can be very productive with it, as I use it not for playing, but typing general texts like system plans, implantation guides, and codes.

this is best replacement for mac keyboard the backlaight on K3 is better than on k8 although the feelings are a bit softer comparing with full-size key-caps and standard size mechanical switches.

Love the product, and also arrived quicker than anticipated! I kept glancing over at my colleagueon site IT engineer guy at work who was using one of these and really sold me on the product, being 75%, low profile, the hot-swappable keys themselves and simply just the look of the keyboard. The box that it comes in is also really nice!!

Love this keyboard. It’s an upgrade for me on the K2 I bought last year. Love the lower profile and the quieter keys mean I can use it while on Teams calls for work! RGB lights are fun, only had white on my last keyboard. Now to start experimenting with new key caps and hot swappable switches 🤔

It’s a great little keyboard. Really tactile response, and a dizzying array of RGB patterns – if that’s your thing.

TLDR: good keyboard, the brown switches are rubbish.
The keyboard is pretty good overall. In my opinion, the 75% form factor is the sweet spot between TKL (which I consider not portable enough) and the more esoteric 60% (or smaller) which sacrifice useful keys for the sake of looking cool and gamer. If youre comfortable typing on an average laptop, youll feel at home with this form factor.
The case is solid and not too flexible, the keyboard is relatively heavy (a good thing, otherwise it wobbles and drifts around like a cheap piece of plastic) and the Bluetooth mode works well once you update the firmware (older firmwares are buggy and the backlight is incredibly dim at 100% when in Bluetooth). I love the fact that this keyboard seems to be designed for grown-ups so, even if perfectly workable for gaming, it doesnt make you look like an overgrown child when you use it at work.
Do buy the US-ANSI version because insisting on using any other layout, especially the ISO-UK one which is very similar to US-ANSI but different enough to cause inconvenience, is rather daft (in the world of mechanical keyboards, US-ANSI is king).
The brown switches that came with this keyboard are utter rubbish. They all feel slightly different to each other. Some of them make an audible click, and some of them dont. Some of them feel very tactile, and some of them feel linear. Some are stiff. Initially, the Keychron low-profile optical browns had a fatal flaw whereby the actuation point was almost zero force fortunately it was fixed (not thanks to Keychron but a random youtuber, which is laughable!). Anyway, these browns aim to be a weird middle ground between reds and blues that, trust me, doesnt really work. The manufacturer didnt manage to make them consistent. Go for reds or blues: at least you know what you get.
A good thing about this model is that it mounts hot-swappable optical switches so you can replace them as needed.
