Overview
The Keychron K2 is a super Bluetooth or wired keyboard giving you all the keys and functions you need while keeping it compact and with one of the largest batteries seen in a mechanical keyboard.
Connect with your phone, laptop or iPad. Connect the keyboard wirelessly via Bluetooth with up to 3 devices, and switch between them with fn + 1, 2 or 3. You can also use the USB to type-C cable to connect the keyboard to your devices and/or charge the keyboard.
Tactile feel Gateron Brown switches with a lifespan of 50 million keystrokes and more.
Compatible with all operating systems from Mac to Android to Windows. K2 is one of the few mechanical keyboards featuring Mac layout media keys. It allows you to use all the same media keys as conventional macOS. Every K2 keyboard comes with specific keycaps for Mac and Windows, respectively.
K2’s 85 key design retains all the essential function keys like Page Up/Down, Home, End, and Screen capture (cmd+shift+4) which are important for your productivity. With N-key rollover (NKRO on wired mode only) you can register as many keys as you can press at once without missing out characters.

This is a fantastic keyboard, I am very impressed. I have been using it daily for a month now and exceptionally pleased.
It is very well built, I really like the metal enclosure and the quality of the key caps. I did have to update the firmware on the keyboard to enable a caps lock indicator light, and to allow locking of the lighting effect – because it took some time to avoid accidentally hitting that key – but it was easy.
It’s great having a screen capture button too. I can also go from wired to bluetooth by simple toggle switch. It came with additional key caps for Windows, if you want to turn it into a Windows keyboard. And there is a standard grey cap for Esc if you don’t want to use the included orange cap.
I can’t fault this keyboard and the service from Keyboard Co was flawless too.

Great device and super service with good communications from the ‘mail me when back in stock’ right through to a polite courtesy mail asking whether I was happy with the purchase.
I read most of the reviews and I must say they are all very accurate. There’s no denying the product isn’t excellent with great build quality but some may find the keys a little closer together at first and some may prefer a wrist rest depending on your style of typing. However, these are really down to the individual and don’t detract from the quality of the product and service from Keyboard Co. I will certainly use them again.

The keyboard is amazing, wanted the UK layout for this keyboard. Im using the Keychron K2 keyboard right now to type this review. There is no trouble when typing, perfect height for me, and the sound of switches are just great. I wish Keychron could have more UK Layout for the latest keyboard products as i prefer UK keys instead of USA keys. Definitely will get another keyboard from this website and would recommend to friends.

Keyboard is good overall but I have to use a wrist rest as it’s significantly high and I had a very frustrating issue with a couple of keys inverted: the firmware was buggy. Now if the keyboard does not deserve five stars, the customer service I’ve received from KeyboardCo certainly does. I got notified as soon as the keyboard was available, delivery happened as expected, they followed up on the order and they helped me to solve the technical issue while Keychron were still looking at it. I know for sure where I’ll be buying my next keyboard.

Extremely solid and the LED lights are entertaining (though maybe rather too many pyrotechnic options to weed through before finding the usable day-to-day settings). Worked without issues on a 2014 Mac Mini on both wired and unwired connections. Do bear in mind that the keyboard is very high (the base of the keys are around 2.5cm off the table). For extending typing you will need a wrist rest and a relatively high one at that.

Great keyboard love the fact that i can switch between multiple computers and the functionality of it having both windows and mac settings with just a flick of a switch. I went for the K2 Aluminium with red switches as i wanted to upgrade from a membrane keyboard for both gaming and work, the keyboard was delivered quickly and the staff at the keyboard company were a great help.

When I ordered the keyboard it was out of stock. The website said it would be back insotck by a certain date. A few days before the expected date I recived an email telling that the keyboard was now back instock and they will be dispatching it soon. I recieved the keyboard a day later than the expected date it was sue back in stock. I am really happy with it. It was so easy to set up an sync with my Mac. I am also happy because it came with clear instructions. I love the sound it makes as I type and it feels like I am actually typying. I don’t like the flatness of apple keyboards and I prefer the raised board. Cutomer service is brillant.

I ordered the K2 after looking for a mechanical keyboard that was mac compatible. Delivery was very quick and the service from the customer service team was excellent when responding to my queries.
I’ve been using the keyboard for work every day since and the experience has been very positive so far. I had a slight issue with the bluetooth connection dropping on the first day but a reset and turning off the automated time-out feature seemed to do the trick. I am loving the feel of the brown switches (tactile) and I have mine set to the white backlight (despite purchasing the RGB variant) which looks very clean on my setup.
I would highly recommend opting for the aluminium variant as the build quality is very good. The keyboard is raised quite high off the desk but personally I haven’t found this to be an issue (I’m not using a wrist rest).
As a UK customer I was delighted to find this available from a trusted UK retailer, as the manufacturer website was sold out and delivery times were expected to be at least a few weeks with the virus restrictions in place.
Overall 5* service. Highly recommended.

As always the service was excellent – that along with the great selection of keyboards is why I keep coming back.
The keyboard itself is really very good. In no particular order these are my highlights:
* Supports the ability to connect to multiple devices – I can easily switch from my Mac to my iPad and back.
* Great support for the mac and the media keys etc.
* Really nice feel from the keys – this is my first set of Gateron Browns and I prefer them to the Cherry Browns on my Filco and Drevo keyboards since they feel lighter and quieter.
* It has nice keyboard legs to raise the keyboard up, they are firm and hold well.
* Overall it’s a great looking keyboard.
The minor things that go against it are:
* It lights up like a 70s disco – thankfully you can turn it off and I never really look at the keys while I’m using it anyway.
* They keyboard is quite tall. The height of the case is pretty much the same as the height of the tops of the keycaps on my Drevo Excalibur, so it’s a taller by roughly a set of keycaps. In practice I haven’t found this an issue by that’s probably down to my rough and ready typing style.
Overall this is a really nice keyboard and one of the best one that I own, it’s certainly well worth recommending.

Great keyboard, had some issues with the bluetooth but it was not the issue with the board but rather bluetooth technology itself.

Great keyboard. Does exactly what I need it to, and is a million times better than the apple magic keyboard. The only complaint I have is that in bluetooth mode it won’t connect to my laptop on the login screen. It just means I need to lift the lid, log in, and then close the lid again, so it’s not a real concern, just wanted to voice it!

It has been almost a week since I received the K2 UK Brown, I’ve been loving it so far.
Even though I spent quite some time tracking the availability of the product, it was available for purchase as promised, even a few days earlier. The order and delivery process was smooth.
The keyboard itself is a bit high as you might read in some web comments, but I do not find it a hassle as I hover my fingers while typing. The keycaps feel a bit on the light side, but still the typing experience is great. I can’t speak for gaming, but for programming and everyday typing, it’s working really well.
Even though it has only been a week with a new keyboard, I don’t have any wrist pains or such which is an important sign for me that it fits ergonomically to my posture.
The coaster and the nail file that came in the box were really nice touches!
I’d easily recommend this to any colleague.
