First entry into the mechanical keyboard realm, a really solid all rounder and a great option to start with, no required software is a huge plus and the shared mediafunction keys can be flipped with a shortcut, build quality is very nice for this price range and serviceability isn't impacted in the slightest.
I do recommend some new keycaps to replace these somewhat cheap feeling ABS types but the biggest upgrade is using the box foam to fill the empty chamber at the bottom of the board, there are plenty of guides and posts online for help doing this, 2 hour job at the very most and is a night and day difference to acoustics.
Absolutely recommend this board if you're comfortable doing a few basic upgrades, be sure to get the hot-swap switches too, will be much cheaper in the long run if you want to experiment.

It was a substantial wait for the keyboard, ordered 01-March 2021 and delivered last week. (So roughly 4 months) that being said it didn't really bother me that much the website was updated with expected stock dates etc so you knew roughly when it would arrive. (I don't imagine brexit helped either)
They K8 itself is really solid, a lot heavier than I expected, nicely packaged and well protected during shipping.
It's a bargain for the money and I'd recommend it to anyone after a tkl keyboard.

My first impressions on this keyboard are as follows. The keys feel light and responsive due to the the red switches I chose. this being my first mechanical keyboard I would recommend the red switches. The battery life is impressive I have not had to charge the keyboard since it arrived 3 days ago. Switching from one bluetooth device to another takes approximately 4 seconds which is a lot quicker than what I thought it was going to be. The cable included with the keyboard is a nice braided type if a little short. However, as I primarily use this as a Bluetooth keyboard I have had no problems with said cable. The colour scheme of the included keycaps is quite sleek. You could be forgiven for thinking that this keyboard was worth double the price.
The built-in RGB effect of the LEDs are impressive for the price and somewhat customisable.
Overall I would recommend this keyboard for a first-time mechanical keyboard customer as the the keycaps are hot-swappable. No soldering required.
I rated at a 9 out of 10. It is absolutely fantastic for the price.

Keyboard - K8 Linear Red Aluminum Hot Swap
It's a fantastic keyboard, the Bluetooth functionality for switching between different devices is quick and easy - life changer... Have to get a mouse now that'll do the same too!
The unit I got had little to no lubricant in the switches, so they are not super smoothlittle scratchy, but I'm pretty sure it was a 1100 scenario, as I had also bought the K2v2 and the same switches were perfectly lubed!
Would highly recommend! Great customer service too!

First time back with a mechanical keyboard for a while. The Keychron has been great so far. Impressed with the build quality and responsiveness. Hard to beat at this price. Great service from the Keyboard Co. as well. Very happy all round.

Despite a short delay in the K8 being delivered to the Keyboard Co (which the Keyboard Co kept me in the loop about), I'm very happy with the keyboard, it was well worth the wait. It is great to type on, has fantastic battery life and numerous lighting affects, including various single colour modes if RGB isn't your thing.

Great feeling keyboard, very easy to swap between modes and some decent RGB too (could be a little brighter perhaps). Stock keycaps are ok but upgarde them and all of a sudden this board feels wonderful to type with (and that is using reds!)
Service from the Keyboard Co is 2nd to none to go along with it.

Great product and helpful team. The back lighting could be brighter but its still decent considering all its other properties. The sound is a little hollow but the keyboard comes with styrofoam pads you can place inside the casing to stop that if you wish.
All in all I would definitely recommend for any Mac users
