My first keychron board, and I'm very impressed, the build quailty is excellent, and the foam damping, and the pre-lubed brown switches are quiet, but still have a satisfactory clickyness, my only complaint would be that the feedback of the tactile switches could be more pronouced to me it seems very mild, but with the highly customisable nature of the keyboard, this is more of a nitpick than anything else as the switches and caps can be replaced.

I've been using my K8 Pro for a week now. I have several other keyboards and this is one of my favourites.

The RGB lighting looks nice for 2 minutes but is usually switched off. It has a steady on mode that uses a soft red, which I use if working or playing games in dim light.

I use the cabled mode to my gaming PC and the Bluetooth during the day with my ThinkPad. Both work extremely well with no noticeable lag when using with Bluetooth.

The keyboard came with a full International ISO Mac layout and all the keys needed to convert to ISO UK layout for use with Windows or Linux. I use an old Keychron K1 with an iPad when travelling and nice to know I could switch over to this one if ever I wanted to.

Overall for the price I am happy with it, at over £100 it's certainly not cheap but the build quality is good and the only nitpick is that my F12 key was printed upside down! It doesn't affect functionality at all so I can't be bothered to seek a remedy, but might upset some people who like things to be 'correct'.

My existing mechanical keyboards are too rattly for use in a shared office so I ordered this Keychron K8 Pro (brown switches) which promised to have better noise control - and it has! I am very happy with the build quality, feel, sound and features. Plus, it looks great in a striking colour scheme with the main typing keys in blue-grey and the ancillary keys in charcoal grey - and a salmon coloured ESC key as a little extra flourish! I wasn't really looking for illumination, but it's nice to have with plenty of different colour schemes.

As always, the team at Keyboard Co were helpful with my pre-order questions and efficient with dispatch.

Not my first mechanical by a long way. This replaces a K6 as my desktop keyboard. Didn't want to go back to wired only (before the K6 I was using an ALPS wired), being able to switch between 4 devices I find highly useful.

Glad this has the remappable keys as otherwise it would be useless to me. I bought it mainly to get one touch function keys (and delete key), I had to change the mapping to get function keys primary with media controls secondary(on Mac).

Its a brick of a keyboard, so don't consider if you want potability but the heft gives it a nicer feel on the desk and its quieter than the K6 (with the same keys). The space bar was a bit noisy to begin with and following some posts on line, I put some foam into the space bar keycap which has helped it be more similar to the rest of the board.

Thanks to the reprogrammable nature its easier to have the backlight do something sensible (on the K6 its a pain, always going on and off by accident and ending on silly moving patterns)

So far the best Keychron board I have tried and I recommend it unless you want to move it around a lot.
