The socket of K2 (Hot-swappable) keyboard is compatible with almost all the MX style 3pin and 5pin mechanical switches on the market (including Gateron, Cherry, Kailh, etc.). SMD-LED compatible switches are the best for showing the backlights.

SUITABLE FOR ALL DEVICES
Compatible with all operating systems from Mac to Android to Windows. K2 is one of the few mechanical keyboard featuring Mac layout media keys. It allows you to use all the same media keys as conventional macOS. Every K2 keyboard comes with additional specific keycaps for Mac and Windows, respectively.
COMPACT YET POWERFUL
K2’s 85 key design by retaining all the essential function keys like Page Up/Down, Home, End, and Screen capture (cmd+shift+4) which are important for your productivity. With N-key rollover (NKRO on wired mode only) you can register as many keys as you can press at once without missing out characters.

I needed a decent bluetooth keyboard with a bit of longevity and the K2 ticked all the right boxes. Keyboard Company delivered quickly and I particularly like the promo beer coaster (the last company to send me one was a Czech logistics company) so five stars there.
As to the keyboard itself: Pros - Everything feels high quality. It feels well made and solid. Good quality double shot keys with a slight rubbery feel, nice clicky blue switches, the backlight is fun and most importantly for me the bluetooth enables easy switching between different devices. However this brings me to the one small elephant of a problem...
Cons - I bought this mainly to switch between laptop, Pi and Steam Deck all of which are running different flavours of linux. Apparently there is a known problem with the Function keys and linux and this is that they do not work out of the box. They do not work if you toggle the switches between windowsmac & cablebluetooth, the F keys are stuck firmly as media keys (vol -+ etc) Keychron are aware of it and helpfully direct you to a FB group but this really ought to have been fixed properly by now!

And particularly this page to make the fix permanent although on the Steam Deck it remains to be seen how long standing any changes to etc will be.

Fantastic keyboard. Loving the Gateron Blue switches. I'm finding the keyboard a pleasure to use and to type on. The switches offer just the right amount of feedback and I'm loving the click shound they make. The keyboard is incredibly well built, the bluetooth works really well with no noticable lag and the battery life is excellent. They Keyboard company delivered my keyboard very quickly and I'm extremely happy with my experience. Top marks - many thanks.
