This keyboard is incredible, this has to be the best typing experience i have had on a keyboard.

For reference i switched from Cherry MX reds, and the difference between the buckling springs and the MX reds are like night and day, I even enjoy playing games more on this keyboard than on the MX reds, thats how good it is.

And for those that are playing games more than typing, dont worry about 2KRO which this keyboard has, i can press W, A, D, shift, CTRL and spacebar at the same time

Definetly worth every euro i paid for it, customer service from the keyboardcompany was also outstanding, so overall this is easily a 55 stars for me.

An excellent keyboard, better than looking for a used IBM Model M. Easy to switch the and -keys, thus making the keyboard perfectly usable here in Denmark, as well.

Really nice keyboard, buckling spring mechanics are great for typing. The keycaps and general typing feel is spot on. The keyboard housing quality is a bit let down, and the keyboard itself is a lot lighter than the original one, but fortunately typing feel itself is fantastic.

Only big issue that I have is the reversed windows and altgr keys layout. It took me a while to learn to press the AltGr instead of the windows key which caused many interesting effects while touch typing in Windows :). Don't know the reason for this, but it is something you can learn pretty quickly. Of course you could remap the keys, but this causes problems as I am using this keyboard in my work laptop and when I'm forced to use the built keyboard of the laptop the keys are in wrong order again.

It is not the sexiest keyboards, a bit loud, but still the best to type on. Highly recommended!

Special mention to keyboardco.com. Very fast delivery and packaged very well. Thanks!

I am very grateful that Unicomp still produce these classic buckling spring keyboards. They are a delight to type on and the switches feel crisp.

The build quality is not perfect - there is a little more give in the case than I would have liked. It is a bit creaky, all in all. The alignment of the keycap legends is also a bit funny on some keys.
Another thing to note is that this keyboard is not particularly portable. One thing is the weight, but a perhaps less obvious thing is that the switches themselves don't travel well. When receiving the keyboard, it was accompanied by a note from Unicomp stating that it is common for springs to become trapped during shipping. Sure enough, one key didn't register correctly and it took a bit of fiddling to get it working. I imagine that something similar is liable to happen when traveling with the board.

But these things are minor details which do not substantially detract from the overall delightful experience of daily use.

I do keep another, quieter keyboard ready for when on telephone and video calls, however. This thing makes an absolute racket!

The keyboard is nice, the keys have a definite unique springyness to them, and I use it connected to the laptop when working in the office. I bought it just to try it out, as I am constantly testing new keyboards. It works, it works well and it is what you would expect for this type of keyboard. If you like me, enjoy trying out different keyboards this is worth your time : )

An excellent keyboard. I bought mine in 2018, and both the case and the keycaps are crisp, clean and free of defects. Even though the keys are slightly heavier than you see in many other boards, typing on them feels light. Thanks to the very loud click (and the accompanying tactile click), you'll definitely know when you miss a key, which doesn't seem to happen very often. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a full traditional keyboard for typing.

It's not a perfect board, though: the AltGr button is in the wrong position and it is quite long, which means that using the keyboard with a mouse is not optimal. Unicomp offers a 103-key version (104 keys for Nordic users), which omits the right Windows key, eliminating the AltGr problem (I simply remapped my right Windows key to function as another AltGr). Additionally, the keys are very loud, so this board is not for everyone. It's probably not very convenient for playing games either, but as a typist's tool, it's absolutely wonderful.
