K2’s 85 key design retains all the essential function keys like Page Up/Down, Home, End, and Screen capture (cmd+shift+4) which are important for your productivity. With N-key rollover (NKRO on wired mode only) you can register as many keys as you can press at once without missing out characters.
Designed to be a wireless mechanical keyboard that everyone would love to use in everyday work. The streamline plastic frame with curved profile keycaps creates an unbeatable feel and the 6 degree typing angle gives unrivaled comfort.
With 4000 mAh battery K2 has 25% more battery capacity than the Apple Magic keyboard, 2.7x more than the Logitech Craft Keyboard, 4x more than Hexgear’s X1 and two times more than the Keychron K1 Keyboard. This ensures that K2 lasts as long as it can with a single charge.

Switch Type: Hot-swap Gateron Blue Layout: United Kingdom
This is an excellent keyboard, exactly as described on the relevant product page on the keyboardco.com website. The default configuration is a UK Mac layout. The package contains replacement keycaps to convert it to a UK Windows layout. There is a switch on the side of the keyboard that allows for switching between different layouts.
I prefer keyboards without a number pad as I don’t use that, and I find that stretching for the computer mouse on the right-hand side gets tiresome when using a keyboard with a number pad. In addition, I have limited space on my desk. This keyboard is the perfect layout for me, and I enjoy typing on the Gateron Blue switches.
The service from The Keyboard Company is excellent. Delivered on time, and there was a follow-up email from the company asking if the purchase was satisfactory. I had a question about the product, so I replied to the follow-up email and the question was answered promptly.
An excellent product, sold by an excellent company.

Great keyboard and great price. My only real complaint is that the Windows and print screen keys don’t have particularly good icons. That might just be due to licensing issues or something though and I imagine I could get some custom ones if it bothered me enough

I needed a smallish keyboard in a hurry, because my keyboard had just died and my others were too big for my desk or didnt have dedicated function keys.
Answer: Keychron K2 ISO UK, backlit with blue switches.
Normally, I stick with tactile switches to avoid annoying my office colleagues, but as this is for working from home, that isnt a problem.
It turned up the next day via DHL.
It worked out of the box and after a key cap swap to match my Windows work laptop, was fully operational.
The only thing that I would change would be to have Keychrons optical switches, to avoid wastage if I decided to change switches – but Keychron dont currently offer that option for most/any? ISO keyboards.

I wish we had been aware of these Keyboards a long time ago as they are such excellent value. I usually use an HHKB JP which was 4 times the price of the Keychron and that was about 8 years ago. I cannot comment on the Bluetooth as I have not used it nor the back lights as I keep them switched off however I can say that for me , and remember keyboard experience is highly subjective, this is a fantastic little keyboard. Finally echoing everyone else’s experience The Keyboard Company was fast and efficient and when i need another keyboard I will make sure I use them again

I’ve been looking for this keyboard in the UK for a while, so it’s great to have a superb supplier like Keyboard Co.
As for the keyboard itself, I love it and would recommend it to anyone who wants a mechanical keyboard. After some deliberation I purchased the hot swap-able keyboard with red switches and the white LCDs. I was worried I’d miss not having RGB but I’ve been very happy with white LCDs.
10/10 for both product and service.

Outstanding service and brilliant keyboard. Firstly the service I received was great. The team got in touch to check my order as I’d ordered a UK keyboard with US caps (deliberate). It was delivered within 2 days. The keyboard is brilliant, already love typing on it. It is quite high so you may need a wrist rest, still waiting to see if I need one. I didn’t think I’d be a fan of the white lighting but it actually looks cool. The switch labels on the side are almost illegible but you can just make them out. Very well built and has a nice sturdy weight to it. Comes with a keycap grabber, which was so useful and easy to swap the keys out. It’s my first mech keyboard and it’s a joy to type on!

After a lot of research, I decided to buy K2v2. It was the best decision I made.
The keyboard is excellent and far superior to others with the same price range. Works very nicely with Linux (Ubuntu-based).

Excellent keyboard. I wanted something small but with function keys (no shortcuts) to be used when I’m dealing with secondary compures on my desk. I have to say that so far I’m impressed with it.
If I have to higlight a negative aspect, it would be the lighting-mode key which is next to the del key. I don’t like any other lighting mode than the glow-all one. I assume I’ll get more used to key distribution soon and that problem will disappear.

K2v2 with gateron brown keys and I love it. I I am a CAD user and have a CadMouse Pro and SapceMouse Pro either side of the keyboard. This keyboard being tenkeyless is a perfect compact size allowing my arms to be 90 degrees to my shoulders. Love the caps lock light and print screen button that I have set to snip & sketch very useful. Great service from the Keyboard Company.

I’ve been using this keyboard for about two weeks now. I was looking for a mechanical keyboard with a Mac layout (for my work laptop), and although I like to have a numpad, the smaller form factor was more important. After using low profile keyboards for a long time, it takes some time to get used to it – but after this the typing experience (and the sound with the blue switches) is phenomenal. Just make sure you get a wrist rest for it too (any kind which is 15mm tall). And only use it in the original, flat position (the incline of the case itself is more than enough).
Also, Keyboard Co seemed to be the right place to get it, they shipped it quickly.

I was looking into a good mechanical keyboard for beginners and I bumped into Keychron. After doing some research I figured the K2V2 hotswap with Gateron browns was probably the best choice for me, but I was also a bit hesitant because of some reviews I had seen from mech keyboard youtubers who this it is just meh in terms of build quality and performance.
I can tell you with certainty that this is not the case. It is a keyboard that’s very robust and well-built, and by no means it looks or feels like cheap one. I quite like the fact that you can connect to 3 devices at once via bluetooth and switch between them effortlessly with a press of 2 buttons. Great battery life too. All in all, I would totally recommend it.

I was initially surprised at how loud and clacky the keyboard is, even with brown keys. After a couple of hours and adjusting to not slamming down on the keys like Im used to with Apple low profile keyboards, Im loving it. Lovely to type on, and looks great too.
Very impressed with customer service and communication as a first time customer.

Switch Type: Hot-swap Gateron Brown Layout: USA
I was looking around for my first mechanical keyboard. My needs are at minimum:
(1) 65% for its dedicated arrow key
(2) Wireless (needs to swap between at least two different devices)
(3) Hot-swappable (since I’m planning for a switch upgrade later)
(4) Adjustable kickstand
(5) Cost less than £100
(6) Can be delivered within a day
I have been looking around for a while and found at least four different options: RK61, Keychron K2v2, Keychron K6, and the AKKO 8086. However, only the Keychrons fit all my checklist. To be fair, the reviews of them are not all praise, but I think that the positive outweighs all the negative (bad ABS keycaps, thicker profile).
I chose the white backlight version with Gateron Brown switch.
+ Quite compact.
+ The Bluetooth is quite good (at least for typing and regular gaming sessions, distance from receiver between 1m to about 2-3m).
+ The battery is large.
+ Extra Mac and Windows keycaps are good (even though I am only using the keyboard for Windows and Linux).
+ Gateron hot-swap with 5 feet.
+ It feels solid but not too heavy.
– The plastic feels smooth, but the edges are a bit sharp, both in the keycaps and the body (frame, kickstand). Not really sharp as in hurting your fingers, but it’s not really dullsmooth. It’s sharp-ish. It won’t hurt you even in a long typing session.
– The ABS keycaps (especially the black keys) are…. bad-ish. I will certainly change it later.
– It’s quite tall because of the thick plate. A wrist rest is a must. (Or, get an XDADSA keycaps later)
– Because of Keychron north-facing LED, you can’t use Cherry profile keycaps with it.
– The physical toggles for changing WindowsMac and BTWired mode feel a bit flimsy.
In the end, I still think that if you really need something specific like me, it is still a good purchase. You might want to invest more with the RGB and aluminium frames for an extra £20, but I think that the cheapest one is already good enough.
NB:
Thank you Keyboardco for dispatching my order on time! I ordered it on Friday afternoon using the RM 24 tracking service. To be honest, I am a bit worried because it is a Bank Holiday on Monday, but my order arrived the next day (Saturday afternoon).
