This was offered to me as an alternative by the KBCo when the Cherry MX blue keyboard I had ordered turned out to be discontinued. The typing experience is equally great and this one appears to be better built overall. A great no-frills, no-nonsense mechanical keyboard!

I had a preference to buy my next keyboard from a bricks and mortar establishment, because the feel of the keyboard is so important. Unfortunately didn’t like any of the ones I tried.
I am so glad I found Keyboard Co. This Filco keyboard is truly excellent. It has good build quality and exactly the feel I was looking for. It is good to have the option of Bluetooth or USB, but as others have said its is a shame that it doesn’t have the option of wireless to a USB dongle. Bluetooth is fine but it needs Windows running. The dongle approach would work when not in Windows – for example when working with UEFI menus or a WinPE-based recovery image.
I initially didn’t receive an order acknowledgement and rang Customer Services. Helen explained that there had been problems getting mail to outlook.com addresses She was able to sort things out for me very quickly.

I just bought my second one of these, for use away from home. Enough said.

UK Filco Convertible 2 MX Silent Red Soft Linear Keyboard (FKBC105MPSUKB2)
Very happy with my purchase. I can’t fsult it what so ever. Premium quality from the way the keys feel to the rubber wrapped feet of the keyboard. I’m very picky when it comes to my computer and it’s peripherals and for me not to find something that I’m not happy with is quite a feat. I recommend it for typing and gaming.

As my first mechanical keyboard, I’m greatly impressed.
Wonderful to type on, not too loud, I’m very happy with the keyboard.
Keyboard Co customer service was great. Prompt service, clear comms, and a follow-up email to make sure everything went well. Highly recommend.

I was in the market for a new keyboard to replace my rickety, splashy Logitech I’ve had 10 years.
I decided on a low profile Keychron, and although it was really nice with lots of bells and whistles, it was far too sensitive for my 43wpm sausage fingers.
So I had to get rid of it, which meant I needed a replacement. Somehow, I found The Keyboard Company, and phoned them up for advice, which was readily and enthusiastically given. It was suggested I try this Filco, and there was a good deal on it to boot.
The keyboard’s a delight to use, and feels good under the finger tips, a very satisfying key action. It looks a bit old fashioned compared to the jazzy keyboards you see internet bros using, and doesn’t have any lights or programmable keys, but I just need it to type with.
I suggested to my wife that she try it in place of her old bog standard Dell, which she did – and wouldn’t give it back!
So I had to buy another one… that’s two the Keyboard Company’s gotten out of me!

Amazing device, I use it for coding. I chose this one one as it works without a cable and keeps the desk tidy and I am very pleased with this keyboard. Solid construction, great feedback and envy of the rest of the office. Perfect.

The keyboard is an excellent working horse! If you are looking for a keyboard for text writing without any super-fancy but distracting bling-bling features, this one is yours. Due to its weight, it does not move at all while writing. All keys work very precisely and give good feedback to your fingertips. Typing on it is a bliss.
Toggling between multiple computers is easily possible without any problems – I use it with a PC and a Macbook.
It is nothing else then perfect!

The Keyboard Company managed the feat of sending the keyboard from the UK to DE within 3 working days. This is perfect too. Thumbs up and big thank you!

My first mechanical keyboard. It is clackier than I expected, but getting used to it.
Initially some problems (this was with a USB connection). After an idle period, it didn;t work well; missing most key-presses and sometimes auto-repeating keys.
The solution was to plug into a USB 2 port, not USB 3. It then worked perfectly. Could be the USB drivers on my PC weren’t making my USB 3 ports properly backwards-compatible with the Filco USB 2 device.
The dual-connectivity, meaning I can USB to my PC and have it Bluetoothed to another device is brilliant.

Having returned the Logitech MX Mechanical Keyboard (the F keys drove me mad with how close they were to the other keys, I kept pressing them by accident), I spent a few months after looking for the right kind of mechanical keyboard that:
-was a mechanical keyboard
-with tactile MX Brown keys
-was wireless and could connect to multiple devices
-had spaced out F keys at the top
-a full keyboard with a numpad
-had a UK layout
I nearly gave up the search, until I found this Filco keyboard via Reddit. It is the only one I could find at the time that was in stock and filled the requirements above. I’ve had it a few weeks now and can say I am over the moon with this purchase. It ticks all the boxes and the typing is amazingly satisfying.
The Keyboard Company made it easy to set up an account, place an order and arrange delivery. Overall I would recommend them and this product.

This is a terrific keyboard. It’s very difficult to find a bluetooth mechanical keyboard, and this one excels in every respect. High quality. Very functional. Ordering from keyboardco was super easy and product arrived in US in 5 days. Highly recommend both the product and the seller.

Love this keyboard so much that this is the third time I’ve bought it! Lovely tactile feel to it, with lots of clackety clack. Switches between bluetooth devices relatively fast, so I can jump from my iPad to my laptop in a jiffy. I have three because I need one for home, one for the office, and a back-up in case I do something stupid and spill tea on it. Am very pleased with both the keyboard and the service from Keyboard Co.
I found the bluetooth configuration very easy.
