An Epic Core Inside The Keyboard
A powerful ARM Cortex-M4 chip (MCU) equipped with 256K Flash will provide more flexibility for developers. The polling rate is 1000 Hz right out of the box on 2.4 GHz and wired modes (90 Hz on Bluetooth mode), which makes the latency hardly noticeable even in competitive games.
Double Gasket Design
The Double Gasket Design is a new innovative structure in the industry. In addition to the gaskets on the plates, we added silicone pads between the top and bottom cases to significantly reduce the acoustic resonance between the metals and reduce the noise of the impacted metals. This design allows the keyboard to maintain the flexibility of the gasket structure and improves the overall typing sound. Switch layouts between macOS & Windows
Built with the Mac users’ experience in mind while still retaining compatibility with Windows devices, the Keychron Q3 Max comes with a system toggle and an additional set of customized keycaps for both Windows and macOS systems. You can now save two different layouts on the keyboard, one for each system.
Programmable Knob
Designed to enhance your creative workflow, the aluminum rotary encoder allows you to easily customize your favorite keys and macros on the knob through the VIA software.

You can easily customize the Q3 Max's knob to your desired key or macro commands such as: zooming in/out, adjusting screen brightness, brush size, volume, selecting video clips or photos, or backlight hue.
Program Q3 Max with QMK & VIA
With full QMK and VIA support, you can easily program and remap each key on the keyboard. The open-source firmware means endless possibilities for keyboard layouts, shortcuts, backlight effects, even the knob, and more. Since the VIA code for the Q3 Max is still awaiting approval from Github, it is not yet automatically recognized. Please download the appropriate keymap JSON file below, open VIA, turn on "Show Design tab" on "Settings" tab, and drag the JSON file into the "Design" tab on VIA to get the Q3 Max keymap working on VIA.
Hot-Swappable
The hot-swappable sockets are mounted on the PCB, so you can install or change the switches without soldering. The PCB supports both 3 pin and 5 pin MX mechanical switches.
South-facing RGB LED Lights
The south-facing RGB LED is designed to better illuminate the keyboard backlight from the typist’s angle with the premium non-shine-through PBT keycaps installed. The south-facing RGB is also free from interference when the users install OEM or Cherry-profile alternative keycaps on the keyboard.

Delighted with the Keychron Q3 Max keyboard. It is luxury and a pleasure to use.
The keycaps look and feel beautiful. Fortunately the UK version of this keyboard is fitted with OSA-style keycaps which are very comfortable.
I confirm what everyone else is saying, that the build quality is superb, and unlike my old keyboard, it does not move around on my desk. The case is nicely angled, and I use it without a wrist rest. However this is a personal preference and some people may prefer a higher gradient or to use a wrist rest. The TKL 80 style keyboard is ideal for me since I do not use a number pad and I can get the mouse comfortably closer to the keyboard, compared to my previous full keyboard. I also wanted the InsertDelete, HomeEnd, and Page UpPage Down keys in their standard positions. I chose Banana switches which have a similar top-bump feel to my old keyboard.
Initially I found the typing sound bothersome but now I have adapted and quite like it. It gives very positive feedback. The great thing is that I can always experiment with other switches, but for now I am quite happy with the comfort of these Banana switches.

The product (Keychron Q3 Max QMK 2.4G BT RGB Hard Tactile Aluminium MacPC Carbon Black Keyboard with Knob (Q3M-M4-UK)) is exceptional. It does need risers at the back of the keyboard which sadly are not fitted so I've had to purchase some after market risers to raise the level of the rear of the keyboard.
Other than that this particular keyboard is exceptional for typing on and brings a whole new level of pleasure in the world of typing. It is incredible build quality and the lighting effects are elegant and sophisticated. I actually want to type more since I've got this keyboard - very sad:)

Ordered to Northern Ireland and received within a few days which is always a bonus!
Keyboard looks and feels more expensive than it is! Well put together, Bluetooth and Wireless connections work great on Windows and Mac and the Banana switches feel (to me) similar to MX Clears, nice to type on especially at work - great tactile bump and not much noise!

As for the keyboard, it is everything I hoped it would be, the build quality is outstanding and the banana switches offer a fantastic typing experience. The wireless connectivity is absolutely flawless, which I am hugely relieved about as it has not performed well on other mechanical keyboards I have tried.

Very impressed with this keyboard it's very sturdy and comfortable to type on. It comes with spare keys - i think the default layout is for Mac users or something, so had to swap a few keys around, but that is easy and tools supplied. Did have a mild panic that I'd ordered a US layout but i guess it's the same print on all boxes. But basically I have nothing to fault here, pricey but not unjustifiable. Being a Linux user I've been sticking with Keychron because of compatibility, and their browser based software just works for Linux so you're not paying for a bunch of features you can't use or relying on flakey drivers to provide the features. Genuinely nothing to fault here, it's a damn good keyboard.
That said, part of the reason for this new purchase was because the Keychron K1 Max that this was replacing was ghost typing and the Bluetooth was always intermittent and laggy sometimes - pleased to say none of this was an issue with this keyboard. I also found the K1 was causing my fingers to ache after long sessions - i can't say i've had the Q3 long enough to say that it solves this, but the longer travel and the build means more cushioning on the typing so it feels good alround. Also i thought the build quality on the K1 was good, the Q3 blows it away.
In summary, great keyboard, definitely recommend, and if you're a Linux user rest assured that it'll work great and you'll have all the customisations available to you

Well, apparently Keychron don't mess about - this is easily the best keyboard I've used in 40 years, and makes a mockery of my last keyboard (which I'd spent nearly £200 on). Absolute next level stuff. It is super solid and heavy, and with all the damping and inserts is pretty quiet, with a pleasant thock type sound as you type, zero rattle, and very little wobble from the keycaps. Amazing to find this much detail and damping on an off-the-shelf keyboard - it has exceeded all expectations and I'm super impressed.
And great to get it next working day safely from a UK supplier with good support - thanks!

The Q3 Max ISO UK is literally only just released by Keychron, so I was delighted the KeyboardCo were able to supply one so quickly. Far better than ordering from China, with the long postage and questionable support if any issues arise.
The keyboard itself is a beautifully crafted slab of metal. It works great with my Mac Studio and Windows laptop. The Banana switches are excellent, I prefer them to the browns on my previous K2V2.
To me, this keyboard is near perfection.
