Introducing the Keychron Q6 Max ISO, a full-metal QMK/VIA wireless customized mechanical keyboard with a full-size layout and support for 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.1, and Type-C wired connectivity. The combination of reinforced multi-layer acoustic foam and double-gasket design provides an incredibly satisfying typing experience while ensuring a superior sound quality.
A Refined Piece Of Metal Art
The entire metal body is crafted with 6063 aluminum that is processed through CNC machined, polished, sandblasted, and undergoes 24 more manufacturing stages to make this solid metal piece of art that is the Q6 Max.

Elevate the typing experience with a combination of premium acoustic foams such as IXPE, PET, and Latex. Each keystroke becomes enjoyable, making every tap a delight for the senses.

An Epic Core Inside The Keyboard
A powerful ARM Cortex-M4 chip (MCU) equipped with 256K Flash will provide more flexibility for developers. The polling rate is 1000 Hz right out of the box on 2.4 GHz and wired modes (90 Hz on Bluetooth mode), which makes the latency hardly noticeable even in competitive games.
Double-Gasket Design
The Double Gasket Design is a new innovative structure in the industry. In addition to the gaskets on the plates, we added silicone pads between the top and bottom cases to significantly reduce the acoustic resonance between the metals and reduce the noise of the impacted metals.
Experience the next level of key sounds and comfort with our gasket mount design together with a flexible PC (Polycarbonate) plate. This design combination allows the keyboard to maintain the flexibility of the gasket structure and improves the overall typing sound.
OSA Double-Shot PBT Keycaps
To further fine-tune your typing experience, the Q6 Max ISO comes with our unique OSA profile (OEM profile with spherical-angle) and double-shot PBT keycaps that aim to provide a more comfortable fingertip feel with excellent oil resistance for long-term use on the TKL layout.
Suitable for All Devices
Built with the Mac users’ experience in mind while still retaining compatibility for Windows devices, the Q6 Max comes with a system toggle and an additional set of customized keycaps for both Windows and macOS systems. You can now save two different layouts on the keyboard, one for each system.
Program Q6 Max with QMK & VIA
Endless possibilities for a fluid workflow thanks to its ability to remap any key, and create macro commands, shortcuts, or key combinations through the QMK/VIA.
Since the VIA code for the Q6 Max is still awaiting approval from Github, it is not yet automatically recognized. Please download the appropriate keymap JSON file below, open VIA, turn on “Show Design tab” on “Settings” tab, and drag the JSON file into the “Design” tab on VIA to get the Q6 Max keymap working on VIA.

You can hot-swap every switch on the Q6 Max with almost all of the 3pin and 5pin MX style mechanical switches on the market (including Cherry, Gateron, Kailh, Panda, etc.) without soldering required. You can customize your own typing experience in seconds.
South-Facing RGB
Comes with 22 types of RGB backlight settings. You can further fine-tune the RGB hue, saturation, brightness, effect speed, and different modes, or even remap these keys with QMK/VIA.
Gateron Jupiter Switch
Our exclusive Gateron Jupiter mechanical switch comes with a 3-pin design, its pre-lubed with a reliable Gateron quality standard with up to 80 million keystrokes lifespan. While their unique LED diffuser design offers high RGB backlight transmittance and softer backlight effect.
PCB Stabilizers
No detail is too insignificant when it comes to your fingertip feel. We’ve integrated the PCB-mounted screw-in stabilizers for a smoother typing experience with less wobbliness on the big keys such as the space bar, shift, enter, and delete keys. This is the second mechanical keyboard I’ve purchased, and it’s in a league of it’s own compared to the previous one I had (a Logitech model). The build quality and typing feeling are both excellent. And it’s remarkably easy to modify using QMK.
A big shout out to keyboard co, initially had some questions before purchasing, and they were great. And when I ordered, I got the keyboard next working day (in fact, before my workday started!). Would thoroughly recommend ordering both this keyboard, and from keyboard co!

What an amazing keyboard. The build quality is superb. The weight of the keyboard itself ensures it stays where ever you put it. The linear switches make for a great typing experience. The one thing I thought was a bit of a gimmick was the volume knob. How wrong could I have been. It’s one of the most useful things on the keyboard. Backlighting control (and all customisation options) is easy to do via the app. I know it’s not a cheap keyboard but you really do get what you pay for!! I also can’t praise The Keyboard Company enough for their knowledge, help and efficiency.

After reading many reviews about the Keychron Q6 Max, I figured it would be a good purchase but I was hesitant to spend over £200 on a keyboard.
Thankfully after it arrived, all my doubts were brushed aside. The build quality is excellent, the feel of the keyboard is fantastic, and I would buy another one in a heartbeat.
I have a Windows PC and had to swap the keycaps from macOS to Windows – this was very easy to do. I also adjusted some of the additional keycaps as well to better suit my usage.
The only downside to me is that it does not come with a wrist rest and I had to purchase one separately.

The Keychron Q6 MAX is an outstanding keyboard that not only looks great but also feels amazing to use. The keys are incredibly smooth to type on and produce a soft, satisfying sound (red switches).

I was pleasantly surprised by the keyboard and cannot get enough of it. I also had a great experience with customer service. I placed my order on Sunday. It was shipped early Monday, and I had it by lunch on Tuesday. Although FedEx was at fault for a small problem with my delivery, Helen at the Keyboard Company went above and beyond to help.

The Q6 Max is an absolute beauty of a keyboard. Excellent feel under the fingers. I opted for the linear switches but I imagine the tactile are every bit as good depending on your preference.
Easy to set up right out of the box.
The service from the Keyboard Company was excellent, with regular communication and swift delivery rather than potentially having to wait on shipping from China if ordering direct from Keychron.

This is my first ‘proper’ mechanical keyboard. The Q6 Max has exceeded my expectations. The build quality is exceptional; I think I could use it to deflect bullets or fend off attackers if required! The feel of the brown switched is great, just what I wanted and not too noisy.
The keyboard looks really good with the white and dark blue keys. The set up way very simple and the web based configuration method is much better for me as it means I can use it with my work laptop as I can’t install software on it. There are more than enough lighting options and easy to set.
I would thoroughly recommend this keyboard.

Can’t give enough praise for this keyboard, it is a solid piece of kit and it won’t move off your desk unless you, yourself, move it – it is heavy. It’s very satisfying to use, also.
