It’s clicky – and I really like it. Took a few hours to get used to the slightly different pitch to my old keyboard but I soon tuned in to it. It’s also slightly deeper than I am used to but I don’t notice that now either. I realised how good it is today after I had to use a different (but perfectly good) keyboard in the office and I really missed this one.

Fast, efficient ordering and delivery from The Keyboard Company. (Good to be supporting a local Gloucestershire business). The keyboard is great, as expected from thorough research before buying. I think Helen and crew must think I live in prison because a couple of nail files were smuggled in with the keyboard. Fortunately, no bars on my office window, but these would have been handy if there were. A nice touch! Actually, I don’t want to escape because I love my work too much I’m sure the keyboard will only add to the pleasure and precision of my typing! I would have no hesitation in recommending both the Filco and The Keyboard Company.

I replaced my old Razer Blackwidow with this keyboard and the difference is amazing. It’s a lot quieter and feels nicer to use. It is a little smaller than the old keyboard so it took a little getting used to. If I ever need to replace my keyboard I’ll probably get the same one. Shipping was really quick and I got my invoice straight away.

I bought this keyboard from here 6 years ago, it’s never given me a day of trouble. I have literally thrown up over it, spilt beer all over it and other liquids, it dries out, it still works. Only once have I had to take it apart and pretty much put it in the washing up and re-assembled it because it was truly filthy with dust and grime. Worked perfectly after drying out. Basically indestructible solid class keyboard. Would buy again but I doubt I’d have to.

What an excellent keyboard this is with a lovely tactile response. It’s a real pleasure to use. It reminds me of the keyboard supplied with the IBM PC-XT back in the mid 1980s. Such a difference from most of today’s cheapo and squishy keyboards.

Very nice keyboard whose features are among the very best. The delivery is also satisfying and the customer service very reactive and professional. What was even more pleasant was to find keyboards with French layout which is quite challenging even on some other marketplaces, and at a very fair price for a Filco keyboard. Eventually I feel very grateful for having been given the opportunity to get a keyboard that meets all my requirements at the same time (robust built, brown switches, French layout, sober ie. no backlighting and elegant design). Once again thank you to the Keyboard Company !

This is my first mechanical keyboard and I’m very pleased with it. The brown switches are perfect for me and I already feel my typing is improving in accuracy, if not speed.
As keyboards go I guess it’s a little plain: no backlight, no funky macros… but I’m not missing those at all. It’s a nice solid build that looks pleasing to me, and I’m very happy with how it feels to use.
The one downside I would point out is that the Space bar has got an angle on it. Depending on how you position your thumb, it may feel a bit sharp to press unless you are fully on top of the key. I’m a lazy typer though, so a wrist rest might improve this by raising my hands higher.
Overall: recommended.

Overview
The first 105 Key “Majestouch-2” keyboard from master keyboard makers – Filco. This Keyboard combines the high quality typing feel of Cherry MX switches, steel mounted in a rock solid body with full N-key Rollover function, all put together in a very slick package. N-Key Rollover allows multiple simultaneous key presses to be recognized by your computer. A big help for the superfast typist or serious gamer. These keyboards just make you want to type.
