Overview
Keychron K6 Pro QMK/VIA Wireless Mechanical Keyboard allows anyone to master keyboard keys or macro commands through VIA, includes extra keycaps suitable for both macOS and Windows devices, and users can hot-swap with any MX mechanical switch in a breeze.
Wireless and Wired
An excellent solution for multitasking. You can connect the K6 Pro with up to 3 devices wirelessly via its stable Broadcom Bluetooth 5.1 for seamless multitasking across your laptop, phone, and tablet. Switch among them swiftly, and it’s fully compatible with both Mac and Windows. A reliable USB Type-C wired connection is also available when you need it.
Program with QMK & VIA
QMK/VIA means endless possibilities for a fluid workflow. Thanks to our engineering team, it’s the first time in history that a wireless mechanical keyboard has these kinds of capabilities right out of the box. Simply connect the K6 Pro to your device with a cable, drag and drop your favorite keys or macro commands to remap any key you want on any system (macOS, Windows, or Linux). An ultra-low-power ARM Cortex-M4 32-bit STM32L432 MCU which is powerful, and equipped with 128K Flash will provide more flexibility for developers.
Upgraded Typing Experience
The K6 Pro has been re-engineered and redesigned from the inside out to upgrade the typing experience. The added sound-absorbing foam, a thick silicone dampening bottom pad, and steel plate provide responsive feedback and a peaceful typing sound, while added weight will enhance the stability.
Hot-Swappable
Every detail matters, so we make the K6 Pro hot-swappable for your personalized typing experience. The hot-swappable sockets are mounted on the PCB, so you can hot-swap every switch on the K6 Pro with almost all of the 3pin and 5pin MX style mechanical switches on the market (including Cherry, Gateron, Kailh, Panda, etc.) without soldering. You can customize your own typing experience in seconds.
Screw-In PCB Stabilizers
Even small part matters for your fingertip feel. We’ve integrated the PCB-mounted screw-in stabilizers for a smoother typing experience with less wobbliness on the big keys such as space bar, shift, enter, and backspace. The Keychron K6 Pro also supports third-party screw-in PCB stabilizers.
OSA Profile ABS Backlight Shine-Through Keycaps
To further leverage your typing experience, the K6 Pro UK version comes with our unique OSA profile (OEM profile with spherical angle) and ABS keycaps that aim to provide a more comfortable fingertip feel and a fantastic backlight shine-through effect.
Pre-lubed Keychron K Pro Switch
By optimizing the switch mold, the K Pro switch wobbles less than a standard mechanical switch and feels smoother on each hit. Plus, the factory pre-lubed process on the K Pro switches (exclude the clicky ones) ensures the best smoothness at your fingertips when typing.
South-facing RGB Lights
The south-facing RGB is designed to better illuminate the keyboard backlight from the typist’s angle. The south-facing RGB is also free from interference when the user installs Cherry-profile alternative keycaps on their keyboard. Comes with more than 22 types of RGB backlight settings as well as a static white backlight option. You can further fine-tune the RGB hue, saturation, brightness and effect speed with ease.
Ergonomic Support
Three levels of adjustable typing angle (3.5ï¾°, 8.5ï¾° & 12ï¾°) and curved OSA-profile keycaps are all working together to provide long-lasting ergonomic support for your wrist.

Keychron are a force to be reckoned with in my view. You absolutely cannot go wrong with them, although I do wish they’d offer some UK-ISO keycap options!!!
I have the K5 Pro 100% low-profile, which is great, but I wanted a traditional mechanical keyboard too, that doesn’t eat up too much desk space. The K6 Pro was the weapon of choice! Nice compact design, very sturdy with the aluminium frame; lovely decent weight to it.
KeyBoard Co. excel at what they do. I ordered it late afternoon, it was packaged up and posted that day. Flawless service, would recommend.

I was looking for my first mechanical keyboard and opted for the K6 Pro based on reviews, size and cost. I am very happy with my purchase and love the small form factor. The only negative is the weight which is more that I expected but am happy to live with given how fast I can go with it.

I’ve switched to this from a Filco tenkeyless. Its compact form makes it easy and light enough to carry in a backpack. The aluminium frame gives it a solid heft. It’s a bit pricier than the normal Keychron site but the Keyboardco sellers are more trustworthy and reliable for support. Indeed I did run into a problem which Keyboardco fixed for me, so it was worth it. I have to ding Keychron for their sometimes questionable quality control (not my first problem with a Keychron keyboard), but it was Keyboardco who came to the rescue.
I’m just using it out of the box, no additional modifications, not even keycaps. It sounds really good and feels nice to type on. I wasn’t sure if I’d be accustomed to moving from brown switch to red, but it’s good in its own way – it doesn’t have a tactile feedback but there is a nice accompanying sound. It does take some getting used to around the homeenddelete key as they aren’t in the ‘normal’ tenkeyless place, so muscle memory often kicks in. It does get easy in just a day or so, the brain is pretty good at adjusting.
There’s Bluetooth and Wired modes, and they both work with Linux (tested on Ubuntu 22. 04), and it can even be paired with an Android phone, tablets, etc.

Super fast delivery from keyboard Co and the keyboard arrived well packaged. The K6 is a really good board with hotswap, south facing RGB and a solid aluminium frame. Sounds great out the box, and even better with tapemod, lubing the switches and the stabilisers. I also used some of the foam from the box for extra thocky sound. Overall definitely recommend this keyboard for the price and the brilliant service from Keyboard Co.
