*SOCD (Simultaneous Opposing Cardinal Directions) is a gaming technology that manages input when opposite directions (e.g., Left+Right or Up+Down) are pressed at the same time, often called ‘snap tap’ or ‘quick tap’. It priorities the latest input or a set direction to allow faster strafing in FPS games and cleaner movements in fighting games.
