Overview
Keychron K3 Max is an ultra-slim wireless custom mechanical keyboard. It supports 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth, and a wired connection. It allows anyone to master any keys or macro commands on its 75% compact layout through VIA and QMK. It has LSA (low profile spherical-angled) profile keycaps and additional keycaps for both Windows and macOS.
2.4 GHz & Bluetooth Connection
Experience peak gaming performance on the fly with the 2.4 GHz wireless connection boasting a rapid 1000 Hz polling rate. For seamless multitasking across your computer, phone, and tablet, you can effortlessly connect the K3 Max via Bluetooth 5.1 to three devices.

Program with QMK & VIA
QMK/VIA means endless possibilities for a fluid workflow. Thanks to our engineering team, it’s the first time in history that a wireless mechanical keyboard has these kinds of capabilities right out of the box.
Simply connect the K3 Max to your device with a cable, drag and drop your favorite keys or macro commands to remap any key you want on any system (macOS, Windows, or Linux).
ARM Cortex-M4 32-bit STM32F402 MCU which is powerful, and equipped with 256K Flash will provide more flexibility for developers.
Get the K3 Max keymap working on VIA
Since the VIA code for the K3 Max version is still awaiting approval from Github, it is not yet automatically recognized. Please download the appropriate keymap JSON file below, open VIA, turn on ‘Show Design tab’ on ‘Settings’ tab, and drag the JSON file into the ‘Design’ tab on VIA to get the K3 Max keymap working on VIA.

We’ve redesigned the stabilizers to make it stay on the level the same way as the switch while making sure it still delivers reliability and less wobble on the big keys like the space bar, left Shift, backspace, and Enter key.
RGB Backlights
Comes with more than 22 types of RGB backlight settings (as well as a static white backlight option), and 14 types of backlight settings on the White Backlight version. You can further fine-tune the RGB hue, saturation, brightness, effect speed with ease.

Really nice keyboard! I got the hot-swap Gateron low profile red version.
Pros:
– Keycaps feel great
– Nice sound
– No keyboard ping
– Physical switches for switching between WindowsLinux and macOS modes
Cons:
– Keycaps are not transparent so backlight doesn’t help much

The Keychron K3 Max is an excellent mechanical keyboard. It has many great features, including programmable macros through VIAQMK. I use it mainly for coding, so these features come in handy.
Also, even the tactile version is quiet, so it is ideal for use in a shared office. But since it is hot-swappable, you can always replace switches with quieter ones if needed
The Keyboard Co handled the order professionally and quickly; it arrived as expected. I can only recommend them for purchasing keyboards, especially if you are from the UK, as they have a great selection of various keyboards in ISO layout, which is quite hard to purchase elsewhere.

I bought this keyboard as I work from home and the keyboards supplied by my employer have been less than ideal over the past couple of years. Plus they never lasted long! The Keycron linear keyboard is perfect for what I do and allows me to swap easily between the Windows PC I have to use for work and a personal Mac. Would highly recommend both the keyboard itself and the excellent service received from the The Keyboard co.

I bought this keyboard to use for business travel. It’s a bit too heavy and bulky for that purpose, and without a sleeve the removable keycaps can sometimes come off. However, this is the nicest feeling keyboard I’ve ever used. The PBT keycaps feel fantastic (going back to ABS keycaps feels horrible), it’s low-profile enough for me to use comfortably without a wrist-rest which saves space on my desk. And it has a pleasing mechanical feel without sounding like a machine gun. So I’d strongly recommend this keyboard to live on your desk.
