Keychron Low Profile Optical Banana Switch Set 88 Pcs - Z27

The banana switches replaced the stock blues that came in my Keychron K3 V2. The previous blues had a tinny sound and feel to their clickiness, and these bananas feel a lot more satisfying. The tactile sensation comes quite early in the key press, but feels satisfying and give a solid amount of feedback. Very easy to swap in these optical switches, just needed to pull the old blues out and push these in.
Quick delivery from Keyboard Co and in sensible, unfussy packaging.

Bought for my Keychron K3 v2 which came with Brown switches.
I previously used a Filco Majestouch with full size MX Brown switches but I found that, after extended periods on my laptop keyboard (Lenovo X220), the jump back to the Filco became too great.
The Keychron was a way to get more of a laptop feel in a mechanical keyboard. It works very well. I opted for the Banana switches which have the highest resistance (the tactile bump) at the very top of the keystroke because that matches the feel of my Lenovo keys, and many other laptop keyboards. The difference from the Keychron low profile browns is quite subtle but the Bananas have a slightly more positive feel. The total travel is shorter than the regular mechanical keys so they feel very similar to laptop keys but with nicer quality. They're very easy to type on and sound both pleasant and quiet - they'd be very suitable for a shared workspace. If that's the feel you want then Banana keys will be a good upgrade for your keyboard. They're optical switches so they press fit in the keyplate - no soldering.
Kudos to Keychron for their innovation and for having so many different switches for this keyboard - eight different options currently. And the price for a full set of switches is very reasonable.

As always, outstanding service from The Keyboard Company.

These replaced the blue switches which came with my Keychron K3 V2 and I am loving them - have tried many switches on other keyboards but these are very satisfying to type on and I have not experienced any fatigue while typing with these.

If you are aiming for more of a laptop keyboard style feel then these are highly recommended.
