This switch is crafted with a 0.3-0.33 mm chunky three-ply pin for a more reliable connection and a longer life span. The stronger pin allows for less damage and deformities. Although its strength is increased, its thickness did not change and will not affect the hot swap usage.

Compared to the G Pro 2.0 switch, the G Pro 3.0 is engineered with a frosted light-guided surface to enhance the light consistency and brightness.

Absolutely superb switches - so good in fact that I've just purchased another set to kit out another keyboard I use in the office.
I know that these switches (being linear) seem to be aimed at the gamer market, but as a programmer I've found them a delight to type on - I'm not a fan of 'heavy' switches. The lighter actuation than, say, Browns or Yellows does take a bit of getting used to, but I'm a total convert now (and still not a gamer!)
