This purpose made key puller was designed for Filco's range of professional keyboards, but will work equally well for all keyboards, push the wire end over the key then pull upwards and the key top should come away from the keyboard, particularly useful for swapping your WAS and D keys for one of the sets below.

The tool does its job. Knowing how to make it do its job is something else. Someone at the Keyboard Co was good enough to advise me about that, but, really, instructions need to be made easily available.

Nice quality affordable key cap puller, which I got two of with another order, with which I was able to pull longer key caps, such as the space bar, with ease.

Does the job as advertised.

I was a bit worried because I'd seen another wire key puller being used on a particularly stuck cap and it broke and since I got mine to use on Matias switches, which are notoriously stubborn, I was afraid the same might happen to it, but so far no key cap was able to resist it.

I was also worried that the thin wire would dig into the key caps, but the 4 contact points are plenty to avoid any damage.

If anything it's working too well, on my left Ctrl key, the puller actually lifted the corner of the switch board.

Easier to use than a ring puller for larger keys, and of course it can also be used on other keyboard types. Well made too, this one will last a good few years.

Does what it says on the box. Well, technically speaking, there is no box, but...
Works way better than the crappy plastic pullers that are bundled with almost every mech keyboard.

Very useful tool for removing the keys to add the Red O-Ring Switch Dampeners to the Filco keyboard I purchased. Pulls keys off firmly and evenly but watch out for stablisers on longer keys - they are tricky to replace. I'd suggest watching the YouTube videos before attempting it.
