CHERRY MX is the original, most famous branded switch series that offers an excellent, smooth and tactile typing experience. They are compatible with MX style mechanically switched (non-optical switch) keyboards, Hot-swappable keyboards without soldering. Each CHERRY MX Switch Set comes with 35 switches and the holder.
These are plate mounted switches, they clip into a plate that sits above the main PCB, eg Filco and Keychron keyboards. If your keyboard has SMD-LED's you will need the RGB switches, if you use the non-RGB switches in an SMD-LED keyboard the switches will block the backlighting.
