USA Keychron V1 Max QMK RGB Bluetooth 2.4g Tactile Mac/PC Carbon Black Keyboard with Knob - V1M-D3-USA

All-Around Customizable Keyboard
To build a fully customizable keyboard, we designed every component to be easily assembled so you can customize and adjust any or every parts the way you want.

2.4 GHz & Bluetooth Connection
Experience peak gaming performance on the fly with the 2.4 GHz wireless connection boasting a rapid 1000 Hz polling rate. For seamless multitasking across your computer, phone, and tablet, you can effortlessly connect the V1 Max via Bluetooth 5.1 to three devices.

An Epic Core Inside The Keyboard
A powerful ARM architecture MCU equipped with 256K Flash will provide more flexibility for developers. The polling rate is 1000 Hz right out of the box, which makes the latency hardly noticeable even in competitive games.

OSA Profile Double-shot PBT
These double-shot PBT keycaps have a similar height to the OEM profile and has an SA-like shape. We named it the OSA (OEM spherical angled) keycap. The PBT keycaps will provide excellent oil resistance, enhance the type feel, and prevent the legends from fading out.

Switch Layouts Between macOS & Windows
Built with the Mac users’ experience in mind while still retaining compatibility for Windows devices, the Keychron V1 Max comes with a system toggle and an additional set of customized keycaps for both Windows and macOS systems. You can now save two different layouts on the keyboard, one for each system.

Gasket Mount Design
By adopting a gasket mount design along with a PC (Polycarbonate) plate, the V1 Max reduces acoustic resonance, delivering a softer and quieter typing experience with enhanced flexibility.

Program V1 Max with QMK & VIA
With full QMK and VIA support, you can easily program and remap each key on the keyboard. The open-source firmware means endless possibilities for keyboard layouts, shortcuts, backlight effects, even the knob, and more.

Get the V1 Max keymap working on VIA
Since the VIA code for the V1 Max is still awaiting approval from Github, it is not yet automatically recognized. Please download the appropriate keymap JSON file below, open VIA, turn on 'Show Design tab' on 'Settings' tab, and drag the JSON file into the 'Design' tab on VIA to get the V1 Max keymap working on VIA.

Hot-swappable
The hot-swappable sockets are mounted on the PCB, so you can install or change the switches without soldering. The PCB supports both 3-pin and 5-pin MX mechanical switches.

South-facing RGB LED Lights
The south-facing RGB LED is designed to better illuminate the keyboard backlight from the typist's angle with the premium non-shine-through PBT keycaps installed. The south-facing RGB is also free from interference when the users install OEM or Cherry-profile alternative keycaps on the keyboard.

Gateron Jupiter Switch
Our exclusive Gateron Jupiter mechanical switch comes with a 5-pin design, its pre-lubed with a reliable Gateron quality standard with up to 80 million keystrokes lifespan. While their unique LED diffuser design offers high RGB backlight transmittance and softer backlight effect.

Screw-In PCB Stabilizers
Even small part matters for your fingertip feel. We've integrated the PCB-mounted screw-in stabilizers for a smoother typing experience with less wobbliness on the big keys such as space bar, shift, enter, and delete. The Keychron V1 Max also supports third-party screw-in PCB stabilizers.

Love the keyboard so far, couple things to note. I couldn't get the 2.4ghz connection working. Now I didn't delve too deep into it as I'm quite happy using the bluetooth connection (which has been faultless) and the cable but just something to be aware of. The keyboard is advertised as working with VIA, which it does, but it doesn't straight out of the box due to how new the board is the firmware hasn't been cleared through GitHub to be officially added to VIA yet. If you're experienced with VIA you'll probably be ready for this but if you're new like I was check out Keychron's website they have guides on what to file to download and add to VIA to get it working, wasn't a difficult process.

Lastly, I was very happy with Keyboard Co I actually had originally ordered from Keychron's US site but after two weeks of no updates was informed that the model I had ordered was never actually in stock. In the time it has taken Keychron to then refund me my money I ordered this keyboard from keyboard co, received it, and used it for a week. So will definintely be ordering from Keyboard Co going forward. Customer service is also top notch, with check ins (which is what prompted me posting this review) from an actual human (shoutout to Helen) rather than an automated address which is always nice when it's feasible.

45 purely for the 2.4ghz receiver not working (although this could well be an issue on my machinewith windows) and Keychron being a tiny bit misleading in their hard copy documentation that came with the board saying that VIA would work right out the box, it doesn't as of now but likely will soon.
