The New Mini Model M buckling spring keyboard has the same mechanism and feel as the original IBM Model M keyboard and the layout is similar but in a 'Tenkeyless' style, without the numberpad.
With the much-loved buckling spring key design these keyboards have been prized by computer enthusiasts and robust typists because of the tactile and auditory feedback of each keystroke.

UK New Mini Model M Keyboard Black White/Gray - UT43EHA

Manufactured in Lexington, Kentucky, this buckling spring keyboard is a heavy, audible click keyboard with a solid feel reminiscent of the classic IBM Model M keyboard.

Buckling Springs
Buckling springs originated in IBM's mechanical keyboard as a fundamentally different kind of switch mechanism. Featuring a coil spring that sits between the keycap and a pivoting hammer that collapses when pressed, the spring provides a loud click and tactile feedback.

Model M-Inspired Keycaps
The two-tone white and gray buckling spring keycaps are made of PBT polymer. The dye-sublimated legends compliment the authentic feel and classic design.

Detachable Cable
Like the original IBM Model M, the New Mini Model M has a detachable cable, USB, 6 foot/1.8M long, included in the box.

By far the best feeling keyboard I've ever used; the sound and feel are amazing. I would 100% recommend this, 100% worth the price. The build quality is amazing, there are no manafacturing defects. I can not emphasize how much I love this keyboard.

Only received the keyboard today, however I wanted to put my review up as soon as I could if only as an excuse to use this keyboard!

The keyboard is robust and sounds fantastic. It is loud but has a really pleasing sound to it while typing. Excellent for home office use possibly not one for the office!

An excellent keyboard.

Aesthetically this keyboard looks amazing IRL, the photos here and elsewhere don't do it justice, it needs to be seen to be appreciated.

The switches also feel just perfect, the weighting and tactile response is excellent.

It is a very loud keyboard however, louder than anything I've used previously, MX blues for example. I will say that if you want audio feedback from your keyboard, your gonna get it.

Fabulous service from The Keyboard Company.

Only had it for a week now - the buckling springs live up to expectation: very very tactile and a great typing experience. No manufacturing defects apparent.

Really happy with this. Actually slightly louder than the older Model Ms - presumably due to slightly different construction, but the mechanism actuates perfectly, feels just like an old M and of course theres no grime or malfunctioning keys to worry about.

Well worth it for the price, although note I only use this for typing - not gaming.

A top-notch keyboard!

The Buckling Springs feel amazing. The build quality is okay, but not the best in the world.

I do wish the cable was braided for added durability, but that could always be replaced. The way it locks is can also get quite annoying if youre moving from one desktop to the next. I wish they made that easier to remove.

Im just glad we now have a more portable Model M in the line-up which function pretty much like the original SSK. Plus, the keyboard looks better in person!

An outstanding keyboard, everything I could have hoped for. Build quality and typing experience is top notch.

Highly Recomend! :)
