You can easily hot-swap every Optical switch to customize your typing experience on the K3 without soldering. *Hot-swappable feature is available for low profile Keychron Optical switch version only.

ALTERNATIVE KEYCAPS
We've spent over a year developing and implementing a MX-styled stem on both the low profile switches for the K3 as well as stabilizers on the big keys like the space bar, left Shift, backspace and Enter key.
It will improve reliability, deliver better typing experiences, and may potentially pave the way for other keycap manufacturers to launch alternative keycaps.

I've held off on this review for over a month so I can test those features that receive some criticism online. 5 stars for The Keyboard Company for prompt service and great packaging. The keyboard itself is wonderfully tactile and a joy to use. I don't miss the numeric keypad. The Bluetooth is the reason I'm knocking one star off. It's a little annoying at times. Can take a few seconds to connect after going to sleep. Sometimes a couple of seconds and sometimes a little longer. The time to go to sleep mode can be altered and (I believe) switched off. It's a minor gripe. A more significant drawback is that after waking up from sleep mode the keyboard can generate the same letter multiple times on the screen due to some latencyconnection issues. This happens most days. Overall I'd recommend this keyboard as almost all of the time it performs well. I don't use the cable (which would cure the Bluetooth performance issues). Charge lasts approximately 2 weeks when I use the keyboard around 6 hours per day. Good purchase overall. :-)

Excellent Apple Magic Keyboard replacement. I would avoid the red switches unless you really need a silent typing experience, as they're very prone to typos. Battery life on this board leaves a lot to be desired compared to the K2 or other larger Keychron models. However, the portability of this board is second to none and at this price point it's excellent value. As always the Keyboard Company's service is excellent - fast communication and shipping

The keyboard looks amazing, comes with great accessories in a gorgeous box. It is well built and works great out of the box with my M1 Mac. Delivery, handling and communication with keyboardco.com was good. Over all it is nice improvement over my M1 Air keyboard. The optical brown switches are fairly quiet but feel a bit less distinct than I hoped for. My husband has a Logitech G915 with low profile blue switches and he prefers the keycaps and switches.
Overall it works great for me. Potential improvements for the next version: volume wheel, longer battery life, swappable batteries, faster BT wake up, Software to configure it, different keycap options, brighter RGB, larger letters, del key and light key should be switched, the plastic (dust) cover should have a cut out for the cable, so it can be used while charging, USB hubpassthrough if used wired would be nice --- BUT compared to what is available on the market, this is the best bang for buck and even in isolation a highly recommended keyboard.

Upgraded from an Apple Magic Keyboard and can't go back now. The brown switches are useable on calls or in the office without bothering people. Dispatched & delivered on time. Great keyboard, Great service.

Love the product, and also arrived quicker than anticipated! I kept glancing over at my colleagueon site IT engineer guy at work who was using one of these and really sold me on the product, being 75%, low profile, the hot-swappable keys themselves and simply just the look of the keyboard. The box that it comes in is also really nice!!

I love the keyboard, it feels great to type on, and frees up a lot of space on the desk compared to the full size wired one I had before. There are loads of reviews which explain it far better than I ever could! However I'd like to say special thanks to KeyboardCo - I placed my order on Friday afternoon (sorry guys) and had it in my hands by Monday morning. If you look on the manufacturer's website there are several complaints from people who have been waiting weeks. That's too stressful! Without hesitation I would buy from Keyboard Co again.

It arrived perfectly packaged. The keyboard itself is great, it has a good variety of light modes, and it feels very nice to type on. The only issue I have is some of my keys are squeaking but I hope it will fix itself after continued use.

Very nice low profile and relatively compact keyboard. Excellent upgrade from laptop keyboards that I had been using without going to the bulk of the admittedly nice but higher profile switch versions of the Keychron.

Easy for me start touch typing quickly (with my poor technique!!) on a long essay. Sound with the Brown Optical switches is pleasant to my ear and they have a subjectively nice actuation force and bottom out point to them. Good Bluetooth switching between devices with low latency and USB connectivity.

RGB lighting is nice but only switchable via the on-keyboard button, though luckily there are a few options I don't find garish. ABS keycaps so will eventually go shiny and few other officially compatible alternative options if they are not to you liking.

this is best replacement for mac keyboard the backlaight on K3 is better than on k8 although the feelings are a bit softer comparing with full-size key-caps and standard size mechanical switches.

Great keyboard, Great support by keyboardco.com It is very light and feel good to type. I hope next generations will have more battery life. It lasts about 3-4 days after full day usage.

Love this keyboard. It's an upgrade for me on the K2 I bought last year. Love the lower profile and the quieter keys mean I can use it while on Teams calls for work! RGB lights are fun, only had white on my last keyboard. Now to start experimenting with new key caps and hot swappable switches 🤔
