The Ten-Keyless version of the Majestouch-2 This is the 88 key version of Majestouch (the Majestouch without the number pad). With this compact keyboard, you can save space while having the same layout, and the same tactile feel as the existing Majestouch series. You can customize your saved space by placing the 'Ten Key Keypad' (sold separately, see below) on your left side or right side, when you feel the need.

I am computer programmer and I am very satisfied with this keyboard which I use at the office. Now I purchased it already second time, this one intended for home use.

Top notch keyboard. I have 2 now. One that is portable for work, and one for home use.
Solid, weighty, good action. Quality product!
Superbly made keyboard. Keys laid out as per my Microsoft Sidewinder X6 which it replaced. Excellent service from Keyboard Company always promptly answering emails - essential for me!
Fabulous keyboard. Brilliant service. Thanks!
An excellent keyboard! It has good heftstability, sounds great in use and has an exceptional feel. It seems to target the key attributes needed for use as a typing keyboard and delivers them perfectly. In that regard, Filco has not wasted time, energy and money trying to build gaming features into this particular keyboard. I have other keyboards with all that bling and didn't want that in this purchase.
The product itself of course is only part of the experience of buying something and I want to give a big shout out to Keyboard Co in general and Bruce in particular for the excellent patient, detailed and speedy advice he gave me in making my purchase decision. Fast shipping service to boot! Thanks
This keyboard is excellent. It feels sturdy, the keys aren't overly loud and it's very satisfying for typing. I owned a much cheaper blue switch keyboard before and this keyboard requires less pressure for typing and is quieter as well. I'm a touch type programmer and this keyboard is spot on.
The only feature I miss versus my previous keyboard is LED backlighting: the keys can be hard to see at night if your fingers aren't resting on the keyboard but it's no big deal.
The order itself went through without any drama and the shipping was fast (I received my keyboard the next day). Definitely no complaints there.

Life only really begins once you've bought your first mechanical keyboard.
Do it. You will not regret it.
Buy it from The Keyboard Company. Their customer service is truly wonderful!

Great service great keyboard. This was my first mechanical keyboard, and I looked for advice and what to get. They did not oversell and got me something below my budget. I would highly recommend using them.
Great keyboard. Well-built and easy to type on. It arrived securely wrapped and dispatch/delivery was prompt. Very impressed with the customer service. I had no problems with my delivery but I would be confident they would be quickly resolved.
The 10-keyless design gives the keyboard a perfect size for a desk and is more comfortable to use than a full-size keyboard. The switches give a precise feeling and typing is accurate.
It is a shame the cable is fixed and is plasticy/rubbery rather than in a braided shroud, but this is a minor point.
This is my first proper mechanical keyboard and Ive really enjoyed using it. The silent reds have worked well at keeping keyboard noise down when recording. Construction is great. I did make a couple of very easy modifications to the keyboard to make it even quieter. Service from KeyboardCo was absolutely amazing - great advice over the phone and next day delivery.

Great keyboard in limited desktop space in my lab. Robust and clear with satisfying tactile action. Customer service is tip-top (going back some years!)
Very happy to own this keyboard personally, as I've been using one for work for the last 3 years. Excellent for both Mac and PC, although I may need to get some custom keys to show the keybind differences.
The brown cherry switches are fantastic for typing, being light enough that finger strain is rare even when working all day, whilst being tactile enough that touch typing is fast and easy.
I wanted a keyboard without a number pad as I err towards paper clutter on my desk. This meets that need with the added benefit that it is so much more satisfying to use than my old keyboard. There is a solidity to it, to do quality work one needs quality tools.

Switched from blue switches to browns with this keyboar, finding it easier to actuate and substantially less noisy. If you do a lot of typing in a room with other people its something worth considering. Keyboard is of very solid construction and I have nothing to complain about wrt it. tenkeylessmodel is perfectly sized. At this price point I do not know how you could go wrong.
This is my first mechanical keyboard since I used a Commodore-64 and other 8-bit systems in my youth! I'd previously been using a rubber-dome IBM keyboards.
I spoke with Bruce who was most helpful and didn't try to hard sell any particular keyboard. If in doubt speak to the team.
I selected this keyboard as I do use a numeric pad but not very much and so the extra desk space is useful as my hand has to travel less to reach the track ball. I write software for a living so I sit at my desk all day either writing code, or documenting code or testing code, so I use a keyboard more than 8 hours a day on average. I use the same keyboard for work and home use (via a KVM) and I don't play game much.
The keyboard arrived nice and early much faster than I expected. It was well packaged and survived its trip across the channel. I swapped the windows keys for blanks and plugged it in. I've been using it for a week and so far while I'm still getting used to it I'm very happy.
It's heavy and has rubber feet on all four corners, so it doesn't slip or slide on my desk. I'd prefer to have routing options for the cable, but the centre position is actually fine for how I have my desk aligned at the moment. It doesn't have a USB hub which would be useful, and doesn't it have fancy LEDs which aren't useful to me.
They key caps don't wiggle on top of the switches and travel down in a neat positive manner, there is very little lateral rattle, which is good. As you learn to type without bottoming out, the keys make less noise, if you whack them all the way down, they obviously do make a noise, but the MX brown switches do not make a distinctive click. They keyboard is not silent, but it is no worse than a rubber dome keyboard with regard noise.
You can buy a keyboard with more features for less money and you can also spend a lot more money than I did on this already expensive keyboard. Personally, media buttons, flashy lights and macros don't add value to me so I wasn't bothered with them. If you want a specific keyboard for gaming with macros and other gaming specific keyboards then this probably isn't for you. If you type things for a living then this is the perfect keyboard for you.
The Ten-Key-Less version is only a few quid less than the standard one, and if you don't need the numeric keyboard then the full sized keys but smaller foot print of this TKL version is worth the sacrifice of the numeric keyboard. I think I'd only get the full version if I was working with numbers all the time - it's not worth buying on the off chance that you may use the numeric pad. There is a separate numeric key pad, but I don't work with numbers often enough to merit the paying the price for it.
Is it perfect? No, but for the price you pay for it it is as good as it going to get, because everyone would want slight variations and that would be impractical.
Excellent keyboard. Touch typing programmer finally got sick of cheap keyboards and faced with 3 months of home working, decided to buy a good one, and this one is very good. I'll probably have to buy one for the office now . . . ;-)
Great quality, excellent typing feel, first time owning a keyboard with Cherry MX Browns. Customer service is A+, which is always a bonus!

Service was brilliant - personal, expert and attentive. The keyboard is brilliant. After an initial adjustment (I found I needed a wrist rest), I am flying away, writing at speeds I couldn't before and enjoying the feel and sound of it! Thank you.
Great keyboard and better than the cheap Chinese mechanical one I had before with MX Blues. Went for Brown this time. It's not just about the switches as the electronics are more consistent and the letters come out in consistently the right order as it's less on the edge if that makes sense.
Great service from The Keyboard Co and fast delivery too :-)
Im a software engineer and had this keyboard for almost 10 years, using it at work. It is still fully functional, after HEAVY use. This keyboard is absolutely fantastic. Highly recommended. I have the brown switch variant. I can no longer go back to other keyboards, as my fingers start hurting. Due to recent events, Ive had to work from home, and dearly missed my keyboard, so I had to get another one. Slightly disappointed that the key caps on my new keyboard have a slight blue tinge, whereas my previous purchase had actual black key caps. The lack of the number pad might put some people off. Because I have narrow shoulders, I would frequently slam my mouse against the keyboard, so a narrower keyboard allows unimpeded use of a mouse. A separate num pad can be purchased if you really need one.
Excellent keyboard, absolutely love typing on it. I replaced the keycaps not long after I got it but the caps it comes with are fantastic. This is my first time buying a mechanical keyboard that isn't gaming branded and I'm in love! Hopefully this treats me well for years to come. May even buy another one for the second pc, once you've typed on this you aren't going back.
Thanks to Helen for the fantastic customer service when I called about an error I made with my order. Really friendly and happy to help. Surprised how fast it showed up as well.

My second excellent Filco keyboard, a tenkeyless this time, not that there is anything wrong with the first one but this was for my daughters laptop. She originally wanted a Varmilo because they look better but they were out of stock, she's very happy with the Filco. Excellent service from Keyboard Co, friendly, quick delivery, well packaged.
Great keyboard all around, the build quality is solid and it feels excellent to use (has been used for programming as well as general typing every day). Friendly service and fast shipping from the Keyboard Company .
I've been using keyboards for 40 odd years and still cant type... its a bit late really but this keyboard does help the grossly incompetent peck away at a sentence when you are doomed to looking at either the keyboard or the screen. And the tippy tappy noise does bring back memories :)
I fell in love with it. I bought one a few years ago which I am using at work and I just ordered a second one to use at home. Very good quality keyboard.
Great keyboard. If you need a top quality mechanical keyboard that is likely to work with a PS2 adapter, this is very likely to work. MANY USB keyboards do not work with PS2 adapters. This one surely does.
Prompt delivery and well packaged. Lovely solid keyboard with silky key action. Swapping from Microsoft Arc wireless keyboard which had lag problems; action is completely different but am quickly adjusting. Keyboard feels like it'll last decades!
I am a computer programmer and I have had this keyboard for almost 8 years. It is still going strong. All the keys still work exactly as they should. It is incredibly comfortable to use and brings the mouse within easy reach. I too found the blue switches too noisy. I would highly recommend investing in one of these.
Was delivered quickly and in good packaging. I went for brown. Both my wife and I push keys all the way down. Typing like this, I'd say that the keyboard is pretty noisy, compared to the old mechanical HP one that we had. It's really good to use though. I'm trying to type more gently, though am still finding that I bash the space bar noisily.

I've had this keyboard for a week and it's fantastic. As others have said, it's very sturdy and delightful to type on.
I got it with the Cherry Brown switches which are great in a crowded office; not as noisy as the Blues but just as pleasant to type on because of the tactile bump (in my opinion.)
The only downside to this keyboard is that I now am so spoiled by it that I need to buy another one for home... be careful, these things are addictive!

Excellent customer service. Arrived exactly on time. Used this for work in the office and have been typing for 10-12 hours a day for a week. By far the best keyboard i have ever had. 10/10. the biggest problem is going back to other keyboards. They just feel so bad. Need to order another one for home !
Excellent, very fast delivery, fabulous keyboard, every bit the quality product I had hoped for.
Delivered very promptly and nicely packaged. Not having a keyboard with mechanical keys for a long time I am just getting use to adjusting my typing style. Excellent, quality keyboard.
Wonderful keyboard, really solid choice if you're looking for a sturdy board with tactile keys & feel. Low force for key press and an added bonus of sounding amazing.
Great customer service (replied quickly) and swift delivery (keyboard was sent out v. quickly)
Overall a good office keyboard which wouldn't be amiss at home as well. Not too loud but there is some light tactile bump
(review board is using Cherry MX Brown switches)
I have owned this keyboard for 6 years now, and it still works perfectly. best investment ever. This thing does not break, ive hard several spillages, used daily for 6years and it is as new. even the print on the caps has not worn at all. amazing buy.
Lovely, sturdy keyboard. My first mechanical keyboard and I can immediately see what all the fuss is about. If the main thing that you do in your job is type, then get a decent keyboard ASAP.
Living in France makes it extremely difficult to source a good quality Qwerty keyboard - but the Keyboard Company has now solved my quandary. The Filco Majestouch-2 is a throwback to the days when quality and design mattered. It's an understated product, solid and reassuring in the knowledge that it will last years.
What a relief to have a proper keyboard after the flat, dead, lifeless (but quite nice looking) thing the system came with. I don't find it terribly noisy, so I'll probably not fit the washers. In fact I rather like it! It doesn't have media keys - which is a comment rather than a negative - I knew that before I ordered. Thank you for fast straightforward ordering and delivery, and for the information on the site which made selecting it easy. And for the other helpful and informative reviews - thank you everyone!
Swapped my Apple Mac keyboard for this one. It is a real joy to use and needs much less effort, and hence causes less hand tiredness. Would never switch back. On top of that is the excellent service from The Keyboard Company. Win-win all round.
I got two of these beauties with replaced windows key (by penguin-keys - see accessories). This is probably best keyboard, after IBM's Model M, I have ever used in my life.
So far Absolutely love it the build quality is exceptional and it looks stunning the pictures just don't do it justice it looks beautiful in person. also as a bonus it comes with a lovely dust cover for the keyboard and a velcro cable tie filco has won me over forever with this product :). also, the keyboard company great shipping I ordered 4am on Thursday and got it before 11 on the friday by getting royal mail 24 hour postage :)
I agree that this is an excellent keyboard. I'm not a fast touch typist but like the feel of these keys a lot compared with my prevous 'spongy' keys. However they can be a bit 'clacky' when bottomed and found fitting the Red O-Ring Switch Dampeners a great improvement.
I bought one for my wife, who is a writer. It's the best keyboard she's ever had. My mother-in-law tried it and I had to get one for her too!
I've gone through several wiFi and Bluetooth keyboards over the years and in the end they all fail me. Because I'm a touch typist they just can't keep up with my typing speed - the letters appearing on screen somewhere down the line which is SO frustrating. Then, at some point the contacts under the keys start to fail and so the letters on those keys just doesn't appear on screen at all. So, Question - what to do........?? Answer:- phoned the Keyboard Company and spoke to Helen to discuss keyboards generally and Cherry MX switches in particular. I decided to order this keyboard which arrived as promised 2 days later. It is solidly built and has a good weight, has beautiful black matt keys, and came complete with a PS2 convertor and a pre-formed keyboard cover. It's lovely and responsive to type on and keeps up with me no problem. A touch typist's dream. Thank you Keyboard Co for great customer service too.
The best keyboard I ever had. The touch and the keys are the right size for me. The UK version allows easy access to the numbers on the top row, making unnecessary the numPad, saving space on the table.
Very happy with Keyboard, Many thanks
