The Durgod 320 is a Tenkeyless keyboard (full size without the number pad), it has Cherry MX switches, and is fully programmable apart from the Fn key, via Durgod's Zeus Engine (DZE) software.

The keycaps are 2 different shades of double-shot PBT with black legends, a double shot keycap instead of having it's legend lasered or printed on to it, actually has the legend running through it like a stick of rock so it will never wear away.

So. About my K320 UK Durgod Taurus 320 Cream White Tenkeyless MX Brown Programmable Keyboard...

That's its official name, and it gives little clue to the delights that keep revealing themselves. Firstly, I love the brand name. You want your keyboard to be durable and godlike. I also love that they called it Taurus, which adds to the whole Greek hero vibe. My work feels important, now, before I even start to type. Its unpretentious design shouldn't fool anyone. The whiff of vintage is perfect, especially the cream. The frills and bells and whistles are in the materials and the design itself. You won't be disappointed.

I have opened a lot of keyboards, and this was a most pleasurable unboxing experience. That's against strong competition: like Varmilo, a company which sells overwhelming beauty with keycaps on; and Keychron, whose open boxes look like an Italian motorbike showroom. All these things are good. Better than good. But Durgod? A bit different and equally good. Behold the strong, blue box. Behold the great logo, which looks like a cross between a diving eagle and the helmet of Apollo, the god of light. There is branding and quality everywhere. They even stamped their logo onto the cable. You can't see it, but they did it anyway: quality for quality's sake.

And, after all those treats, then you get to type. It's fast. You might wonder what I mean, but if you use different keyboards, you will understand. Using the Durgod has improved my speeds. I am a touch typist, and this board fits me exactly. I can build speed on other boards, but it takes time. On the Durgod Taurus, no matter how long I am away from it, I am up to speed immediately, and no matter for how long I use it, I don't get tired. For all general purposes: words, design, coding, etc., I think this is perfect. Complete honesty? I prefer my Matias Tactile for very, very, very long documents, which I have to write, occasionally. That's because I need LOUD NOISE to motivate myself for jobs like that. The Matias will drown out any negative thought in your head. But I soon have my Durgod plugged back in.

I chose MX Brown switches. They are perfect for your main keyboard. Easy on the fingers, with that unmistakeable Goldilocks sound: not too loud, not too soft, just right.

I have no idea why this keyboard is priced so competitively. Let's celebrate. It is great value for a great purchase. But what about the programming, I hear you ask? Yes, everything is programmable except for the Function key. Those are discoveries for you to make. I changed a few keycaps to my preference, but I have not uncovered its technical secrets, yet. I am a writer. I love it as it is. Gamers, coders - you get added all that added fun and function. Go for it.

Durgod? I like your style. And I recommend this keyboard, unreservedly.
