True N-key rollover
The functionality by which all the typed keys are recognized on the PC, even when many keys are typed simultaneously. All the keys typed simultaneously are recognized on the PS/2 port (limited to 6 keys typed simultaneously for the USB due to the specifications of USB). Completely dedicated electronic circuitry, a diode is soldered on the PCB for every key switch to prevent 'counter currency'.

Solid and stylish
The rigid case construction gives a sure and comfortable typing experience with a specially designed font, for better visibility and a stylish and long lasting appearance.

An excellent feel with the 'Silent Red' MX silent soft linear feel key switch
The Cherry MX 'Silent Red' key switch also known as 'Pink', gives a soft linear feel without the audible click of the 'blue' switch and it's lighter than the 'black' switch, it has a long key stroke of 4mm with the actuation point (key press) at 2mm. The Silent Red switch has internal tappets that minimise the bottom-out and top-out noise, 30% quieter than traditional mechanical switches. Easy, fast, quiet and stress-free typing, the famous features of Cherry MX silent soft linear feel.

This is an excellent keyboard and is exactly what I needed. It has elevated routine typing to a genuine pleasure. First class advice from Keyboard Co, they were spot on in recommending this keyboard.

Having used whatever keyboard has been provided for me over 20 years, I've always found mechanical keyboards to be the best.

It's simply a joy to use the Filco Majestouch-2. The key travel and response is superb, with positive feel from the keys. Having the MX Silent Red keys is fine for my colleagues, but if this were at home I'd consider the brown option as I don't mind a 'click'.

If, like me, you're an inveterate laptop user and don't need the number pad, the tenkeyless option is a boost as you have dedicated arrow, page updown and other service keys.

Overall: superb, great space saver on the desk and a proper build.

This is another typical Filco built-like-a-tank keyboard.

I bought this as a quieter alternative to the tenkeyless Ninja with MX reds. Even with dampers fitted, the key-up noise made it a little noisier at home than it should be- even though it otherwise felt solid.

This keyboard, with the MX red silent switches (a.k.a. MX pink). Is noticeably quieter. It's not silent, of course, but the noise from the ordinary keys is quieter and lower in frequency, so it's a lot less annoying. Keys feel a bit more resistive, and the travel is possibly shorter-it's somewhere between the MX reds and the Matias switches, being easier on the fingers than the latter.

It's a typical Filco keyboard, so you know what you're getting in terms of upsides and downsides. The build quality is always first-rate. Unlike my old Ninja, it didn't seem to come with a key puller, however.

The other downsides:

It won't talk to USB 3 sockets with most chipsets, so if you only have USB 33.x sockets free, you might have to rethink what's plugged in where.

The keycaps are comfy, but feel like typical Filco ABS keycaps, so they will probably go as shiny as my old Ninja did right away, and the legends may well wear off. It's a pain to have to plan to spend a large amount of extra money to replace the caps on a keyboard of this quality.

Stabilised keys (the space bar being the most stark example) are still quite loudrattly- there are mods you can attempt here, but don't expect them to be super-quiet. The keyboard is still overall for a mechanical.

Overall, I'm pleased with this keyboard. It's not perfect but it's pretty great. As a home keyboard for gaming and general PC use, it's a bit less antisocial than most mechanical options, and it has a great comfy rock-solid feel in use. Very nice.

(Service from keyboardco was a great as ever, of course.)

As a mechanical 'virgin', I originally bought the Filco Tenkeyless with the MX Brown keys and whilst the key action was fantastic, it was quite noisy for my environment so KeboardCo very kindly let me test the silent red side by side and overall the silent red won...
As others have said, the quality is top notch and way above my previous keyboard. I'll see how the key caps go but I can't fault it at the moment.

Great keyboard. Solis construction. Great key action. I don't use the number pad so this more compact keyboard is great. Saves a lot of desk space over my previous one.

Perfect mechanical keyboard. Reminiscent of Topre but even quieter as far as I can tell. Very classy. Love it.
