Topre switches are nice but definitely overpriced! It takes a bit to get used to it and the right ctrl position is not the best if you intend to program with it.

The matte black is really slick and you can definitely see the characters in a well-lit room. That being said, I recommend you're a touch typer if you go for this color option.

Beware of the variable layout. I find myself resting a finger on the lesser weighted keys and accidentally pressing them. Remember there's absolutely no tactile feedback when the key is actuated.

The build quality seems good, but I do not like the following:
- Sometimes the case rattles against the table; I have to pick it up and twist it slightly for it to sit firmly
- The Windows key is smaller than usual
- The cable has only two positions (no straight back out) and when repositioned it is slightly damaged by the tabs that keep it in place
- Topre is not my favorite switch (I had to try it before I knew)
- The black-on-black layout is not very usable nor pretty; next time I'll go for blank or clearly printed keys
- The cardboard box was slightly damaged by the transport, but nothing tragic
