German Majestouch MINILA Air 68 Key MX Brown Tactile Bluetooth Keyboard

I bought this keyboard because the ones with a nordic layout were sold out. (The german and nordic layouts are very similar.) My plan was initially to remap the fn-keys to something more useful, but it turned out I had done my research poorly -- those keys *can't* be remapped using software! This was disappointing at first, but then I discovered there were many very neat combos to use with those fn-keys, such as page updown, arrow keys, my os x keys (I'm on a Macbook Pro mid 2016) etc. So it would actually have been silly (for me) to remap them anyway.

What I did though was to use the mechanical pegs on the flip side to switch caps lock--left control, and then use Karabiner Elements to remap the left option, left command and right app keys to mimic the mac keyboard. Everything else works exactly as I want it to.

The build of this keyboard is excellent. It is heavy for its size, doesn't move on the desk and the key switches are very, very good. The bluetooth connectivity seems impeccable. Due to the minimal size of the keyboard, it is ok to have a regular (bluetooth) mouse to the right -- I don't feel that I need a rollermouse or anything like I do when I am on a full size keyboard and have to stretch my right arm to reach a regular mouse. So this keyboard really works for me.

All in all my desk is so much neater now, and I have the best keyboard I have had for decades. I recommend this product.

This is an incredibly well built mechanical keyboard. One of the best I've seen even in wired varieties. The price is amazing for this high quality of product. I had been looking for a mechanical with built-in wireless capability. I couldn't be happier.

While I love the compact size, those that do not touch type might find the very small shift keys take some getting use to. Personally, I love the layout and the clever use of function keys.
