Blank ISO V60 60% MX Silent Red Soft Linear Keyboard

This is not a quiet keyboard. In fact it's the loudest mechanical keyboard I ever used. Even though the switches are Silent Reds, which is noticeable for most keys, the space bar stabilizers are standard. And they are noisy. Because of this, the Silent Red switches don't really make sense here . Think about it: the average word length in English is 5 characters which means 1 in every 6 keystrokes land on the space bar. Coworkers are going to hear that space bar a lot.

It's probably a decent 60 percent keyboard if noise level is not an issue, but in that case you would probably go for one with normal Red switches. With this one you kind of get the worst of both worlds - the soft sluggish feel of the silent switches and the noise of the standard stabilizers.

The keyboard is great, with a good build quality and comfortable silent keys. It comes with a micro USB cable which is adequate for connecting it to the computer or USB hub. With the DIP switches at the bottom it can easily be set to different settings. The manual that comes with it presents all the options. Media keys also work out of the box on macOS.

I had some issues with one of the (international) keyboard layout I use. I recommend the free Karabiner utility for Mac which gives you lots of possibilites to configure your keyboard. The special keys (available by pressing the Fn key) takes some time to get used to, but its not the keyboards fault of course.

All in all, its a great keyboard if youre a touch typist. Looks great, feels great and works great. The switches are quiet enough to use in an office.

I just bought this item, so I may change my mind with time, but so far I like it.
If there had been a EU/Swedish version of this with keys labelled and silent red switches I would have gone for that. The dip-switches gives you a good set of options for the function keys and the layout for all extra keys is fairly comfortable. If you use arrow keys + home/end or page up/down a lot it may take some time to get used to it.

The keyboard is as advertised, build quality feels solid enough, the switches are nice and quiet. The only negative thing is that the keyboard cable is fairly short, roughly 1,5 meters I think, which is probably good if you intend to use this keyboard with a laptop. If you intend to use it for a stationary computer you may want to buy a longer mini USB cable.
